Someone mentioned Peter Frampton using the voice synthesizer, and Ritchie Sambora used it on ‘Living On A Prayer’ with Bon Jovi, but I’m guessing who you were thinking about was Zapp’s Computer Love, and Rodger’s ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’ from the mid 80’s.
There are always have live performance video with English subtitle also. BTS songs are great bc of the music, their performance, and the lyrics and meaning of of the song. You would understand and appreciate the song so much more if you see the lyrics

At first I thought this was just a bad quality vid. The volume was fazing in & out really awfully and just overall muddy in quality The vid quality was also pretty potatoe but then as it went on it wasn't quite sincing & I suddenly realized... Wait!!? 😯No loud army! No fanchant! No screaming or cheering
🤨 hmm.. "5TH MUSTER" is a LEGENDARY performance, & DIMPLE/PIED PIPER were absolute standouts😘👌... so it defies belief that someone would do this! 🤦🏻♀️ Dubbing a live performance with non live audio... Why? Unless they were just trying to get rid of the crowd noise. ☹️

I’m surprised you all don’t discuss the lyrics. Especially Pied Piper. They used the story as a metaphor for armies being too consumed by them and not focusing on their own real lives. So, they were reminding us that we need to lead fulfilling lives, not focus on them alone.

I still can’t believe Pied Piper exists. I can’t believe BTS sang this to us. This song was written for Armys and it kills us every single time. This song is just perfect. And Dimple - the vocal line is simply amazing on this track. So many beautiful memories 💜

I'm 51 a very proud ARMY, TUPAC SHAKUR my favorite rapper of all times,now RM, SUGA and JHOPE makes me flow and enjoy rapp again. My music background goes from metal, rock, country, jazz , soul, blues, r&b, pop and more. Thanks to BTS I can enjoy all these diverse generes with new music again, I mean I don't have to go to the past if I want to listen good music. BTS give us high quality, great production with wonderful deep lyrics. Let's be honest nowadays music is not anymore what it used to be. For me only BTS can be at the same level of the biggest music legends in many senses. Thank you so much for been open mind and give a chance to BTS they have 300 songs, so you haven't seen anything yet, enjoy your BTS journey. 💜💜💜

I think the audio is not completely live? It sounds a bit different ? When it’s live Jimins high notes tends to stand out even more which I really like.
It sounded like an amplified studio recording to me. Maybe they picked the wrong video which had the studio version.

It's actually the primary reason why I watch your reactions because it's different and offers something more than just the usual reactions. I know some fans are a bit touchy when it comes to ranking or grading the group's songs but for me this is just in good fun so keep at it, guys! Always looking forward to your videos and am about to explore the podcasts. :)

I wonder if you chose the right video. They sing live these two songs but, in this particular video, the sound seems to be different, as if they overlayed the actual studio version on top of the live video...
That's what I got, it seemed off to me the while time, then I realized towards the end that I never heard the crowd chants.
I really like that you you go into these videos with an open mind. I enjoy watching your reactions. It's amazing to me how BTS can go from singing to rapping so smoothly. I want to point out that what you watched, the video is just using the original song ON TOP of the live performance. This is NOT the actual performance, because in the original video you can hear the audience.

They put the official audio over the actual performances and it really takes away from the performance. It's not actually LIVE singing when they do that😕

I’ve watched a few of your videos now. I really enjoy your commentary. Erasing would like to throw my hat (songs) into the recommendation list. Currently ( as it is a fluid list😀), my top five are: Home, Paradise, Love Maze, Black Swan and Tear(rap line). Also interchangeable are : Every song they have made. Lol. If you go back to early BTS, you will hear a lot more of the hip hop infused songs. Yes, they can hit every genre of music, RNB, hip hop, EDM, Neo-Soul, Jazz…. Too much to list. Enjoy ur journey. I'm a bit confused by the rank system. If u rated a song 1 heart for example hypothetically speaking (e.g. ON) but then u listened to a song after that u considered worse than ON how would u showcase that in ur rank? U guys do not allow any increments or going lower than a 1 so how would u determine this? This came to mind because Mike states Pied Piper has to be a 4 because Butter is a better song to him. However, u will run in to the issue that u can't illustrate a song as being better or worse than another since there is a limit to how high or low u can rank. For example, there r many songs I may consider a 10/10 but out of those 10/10 songs I may like one song more out of all. However, I WOULDN'T consider the other songs NOT a 10.
I personally think ranking based off other songs does not do justice to the song itself. Some songs may be a stronger or weaker 5 but still a 5. Idk if I am making sense but I'm saying it may be better to not have the number of hearts but simply positions. For example, Butter may be ranked #1 initally, then u hear a better song, then Butter becomes #2 and Black Swan for e.g. becomes #1. Cause I think ranking with hearts based off of how u felt about other songs doesn't work. If u simply considered (1) as songs u didn't like and (5) as songs u loved not dependent on other songs then it is FINE since it's not a comparison b/n songs. However, if u r trying to rank all their songs as one being better then than another then it would be hard to illustrate this. Currently two opposing ranking ideologies r happening which is ranking a song for what it is and also ranking a song based off other songs but it isn't consistent.

I can't remember their name but yes there is another channel that ranks the songs while reacting to them but I do not believe they do so in a podcast format. Also good luck and well wishes for your procedure, may it all run smoothly and you recover quickly. 💜
I don't know if it was on purpose, but i just wanted to point out for future reactions that the sound is constantly switching from left ear to right ear to left etc. I don't know if it was a technical issue but as a headphone user it was a bit distracting. I'm only a few minutes into the reaction proper but i'm feeling kinda seasick to be honest lol
(it's not switching fully from one ear to the other, more like it's travelling, getting louder in one ear while it goes quieter in the other, and then travelling the other way back, every few seconds, it feels like waves, hence the seasick feeling)
Edited just to add it doesn't seem to be happening with your voices, just the sound from the video it looks like, which explains with i didn't notice until you started it
