Love the ‘Apes’ trash can. I haven’t seen this in nearly 50 years. I’m from Scotland and when growing up we had American neighbours. The father was a helicopter pilot in the USAF and got his children and us so many cool things from the PX (US personnel store). I well remember this trash can. Many thanks for sharing. Great memories. Incidentally I got several Beatles Capitol albums on the Apple label from the Dad too. Wish I still had them. Keep up the great work Joe! 👍
Famous Monsters of Filmland was a good magazine. One particular summer, when I was 9, a friend and I would go up into his attic, where his older brothers had sort of a hangout room, and they had a big stack of issues of this magazine, from the late '60s to the early '70s, and we would look through them. They had a lot of great photos from Universal and Hammer horror films.
hi joe, love that famous monsters of filmland vintage magazine! would love to come across any of those mags. the planet of the apes trash can is really cool too, great stuff once again, thanks for sharing, take care, rob
Popcorn With Mayo??? Joe, I can't keep up with all these changes!!! That Famous Monsters mag is a very cool score. I started buying that mag in the early 60s but ended up throwing them all away at some point. Can you imagine? I should have known that the Monster Kid Virus would reinfect me someday with a vengeance. Now, I'm collecting Filmfax, Scary Monsters, and Monster Bash. It never ends...
Wow, what a HORROR to hear that you threw them away! As for the channel name, there still may be more changes (maybe even using Marquee)! Thanks as always for your thoughts

I didn't like the TV series either back in the day (I was 12). I like it much better now
