      Story wise, Palpatine was probably just playing with fire to try to catch his next apprentice.
      Honestly, Plagueis should have been some pre-Sith-defeat lord with a greedy acolyte that the Jedi could have known about, and just didn't care about (the "tragedy" presumably would have been that the _acolyte_ was who Plagueis cared for, and they died because Plagueis wasn't there to keep them alive: totally irrelevant to Palpatine's motives, and thus not mentioned), but apparently this "Plagueis trained Palpatine" thing is actually canon. Unfortunate.

      @starwarsreadingclub  7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      So funny you mention this Dylan as I thought long and hard about the exact same thing myself. I came to the same conclusion, which makes sense as we know that upon death, the Living Force flows back into the Cosmic Force (hope I'm quoting the Force Priestesses correctly there!), so Plagueis's ashes wouldn't have a discernible imprint any more. Also, I believe the Darth Plagueis novel notes that Sidious could feel the Force "leaving" Plagueis's body. I'd have to double check though. Thank you for watching as always Dylan!

    Did you ever hear the tragedy of Farth Plaigus the wise.
    I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic, he could save others from death, but not himself.

    I think sidious's brain was placed into Plagueis's head after endor and know he's called snoke. The scar on snokes head looks big enough. And Plagueis's body had an extremely high midichlorien count and near the end of his life he was so powerful he actually increased his own midichlorien count and made his own body become more youthful.

  • @rudydragoo8422
    @rudydragoo8422 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    #Suggestion: What if Chancellor Palpatine stayed a senator while someone else became Chancellor? Palpatine still manipulated the jedi and the senate to have a more favorable outcome. Anakin gets declared a Master Jedi where Palpatine couldn't make the jedi council allow Anakin to become a council member. This aloowed Master Anakin to go on more missions alone for the council, but Kenobi had to take on another Padawn so he went on fewer missions to dedicate more time for his new young padawan. This left Kenobi susceptible to Senator Palpatine's manipulations which lead to his downfall during "the revenge of the Sith" where Master Anakin faught Darth Singe (Kenobi). Darth Singe is almost killed by Master Anakin because of his rage attacks against him. Master Anakin takes Darth Singes lightsaber and leaves him to die and returns to Corrisan where his pregnant wife Amadalla waited for him. Darth Sideus goes to Mustafar where Darth Singe was dying and he could sense his pain. Sideus builds Darth Singe into a massively scary cyborg similar to General Grievious to instill great fear in others. Anakin and Padme raise Luke and Leia Skywalker to be Jedi where both had high force sensitivity while Darth Singe became the leader of the Separatists and Darth Sideus manipulates him from behind the scenes. This kept the universe in a constant struggle between the Separatists and the Republic who still had their clone trooper to fight the droids.

      no, actually, plagueis had lost his connection to the force after he created anakin.. the force lashed out at plagueis and left him. no, the reason palpatine didnt fight him head on is because it was the easier way to go, theres no need to let plagueis know its his time to go, it just is. besides, he just mentioned plagueis was drunk that night, which made it that much easier.

    Wait a minute. If plagueis was still alive then during episode 1 right before Palpatine was elected chancellor. What was Darth Maul doing? Palpatine was still the apprentice at this point. Did plagueis not know about Maul? When did Maul officially become a sith?

    • @satan899
      @satan899 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maul was supposed to be trained as a sith assassin and not as an actual Sith Lord. However, as Sidious saw how much potential maul had, he started training maul to be Sith Lord behind plagueis’ back. It’s not unusual for the apprentice to recruit another to overthrow the master.

      Well a lot of the more ancient Sith had temples and stuff built for their tomes on....what was it moruband? Coruband? Some hellish planet along those lines. They were often guarded by zombified warriors and dark side monstrosities. I think yoda found the tomb of death bane somewhere on the dreaded planet in the clone wars.

      In addition to these other answers, I point you to the other urn.
      It isn't like Tenebrous trained _Palpatine_ or anything, so might as well mix them in, and throw away the overflow...

    Things we, so far, know Sidious has smuggles in and stored in his chambers at the Senate building: corpses, multiple lightsabers. I think we can all agree that the Senate security office sucks at its job.

      Dylan Higgins in reality Sidious taunted his master for his ignorance and blindness. He taunted him for letting himself become obsolete, and that he no longer needed him. He also said je had never believed in the idea of mutual trust Plagueis tried to implement. Sidious told Plagueis that he had been using him for his knowledge. "You were my teacher yes, but master? Never!'

    I honestly think Darth Plagueis the Wise should have been supreme leader Snoke. He just changed his identity and made a comeback after Palpatine was killed by Darth Vader. The scars on snoke would have been explained when Palpatine try to kill him with force lightning when snoke identified as Darth Plagueis!

    Too bad no elaborate tomb on Korriban, Byss, or Wayland for Darth Plagueis, but at least he did get a traditional fate, in more ways than one. Since Darth Plagueis never intended to die, I suppose he never had such a structure built. Still a better fate than his master, though, as I believe Darth Tenebrous' remains were left on Baldemnic, and haunted by the bound spirit of the Bith Sith. Darth Plagueis had to leave under complicated circumstances, so I guess he couldn't grab Tenebrous' body, even if such a thing mattered to him, which it seems it didn't, as he never went back, for the cortosis, or the corpse.
