Unfortunate Reality of Crypto Gaming
(Paint the golden story - real ownership, real economies, real opportunity to game and earn)
I was naive. whole space was naive. The hard reality. 3 problems. Then 3 possible solutions. Don't have all the answers, but this is where the conversation should be going.
1. Centralized ecosystems (no real ownership, no guarantee of earning)
A. NFTs being disabled in game
B. Companies not paying out earnings
Takeaway: No different from traditional games?
2. Casino business models
A. Casinos take massive cuts, most people lose
B. Companies share ownership, everyone wins if company wins
3. No transparency
A. Shady leadership teams
B. No visibility into funding, burn rates, runways
C. Massive risk for gamers if games get canceled
Solutions:
1. Centralized ecosystems
A. clear roadmap to decentralization
B. decentralized TOS and company responsibility - companies take liability for cheating and still payout guarantee no NFTs are banned, or decentralized systems to stop cheating
2. Casino Business Models
A. companies must earn the same way players do - Sell ownership and keep some yourself - no advantage for company
B. (Less good) Low tax on true free markets (10% or less)
C. Decentralized open source games
D. No matter what - complete transparency and player education
3. Quarterly Audited Financial Statements if you sell NFTs or Coins to players

a big problem is that developers are trying to pay themselves by selling in-game currency and assets ..
developers should be taking in stables or whichever blockchain's native coin..
a development team that sells their own assets are cannibalizing their own success..
if they are simultaneously developing the game and selling their game's in-game assets, are they insider trading?
First 2 problems you brought up I can get behind. On the 3 we need to keep the requirements of having an army of lawyers and accountants out of crypto. Get to know the teams and know that some might fail so don’t go all in on 1. I much prefer freedom over safety every time.
Most of the games are just not worth playing.......
You have to look up fully on chain games. Maybe what you were suggesting. Influence & Realms are two examples.

start researching ICP Internet computer protocol
It is the only crypto where EVERYTHING in on the blockchain
99% of chains just use Amazon Web Services AWS (ETH, SOL, GALA, etc)
I beg you to do at least do 10 hours of deep dive into ICP
ICP has gaming, NFTs, and actual DAO, its a layer 2 for bitcoin and for eth
ICP is a world computer that solves ALL the problems your talking about
Its the 16th biggest crypto, and it cannot be ignored
The home page even has an AI where you can ask 100 question about ICP specifically (not projects on ICP but ICP as the technology)
A good starting point for gaming is Boom DAO (its a tool set for gaming)
But please research ICP as a technology first, to get a fundamental understand
DFINITY (stands for decentralized infinity) is the main group of ICP
The only reason people don't talk about ICP is that 1. SFB manipulated the price at launch thus the price as been going down for 3 years thus people think its a rug pull, far from it.
2. The technology is too powerful thus many youtubers like (Altcoin Daily) are paid not to talk about it
ICP has been ignored for too long, I hope your not one of them

hmm yes I've always doubted myself exploiting
in gala ecosystem. But it should be allowed because the crypto ethos is that any that is exploitable will be exploited.

I do still own some assets, but not as heavily invested as I once was. Cagyjan is big on RON though. I need to do more research.
Game development company should use nft as a means of allow free trade of game asset without any boundary.
Give players a share in the revenue and also dev earn fees from trades.
So if Gala didn’t punish you you would still be shilling it like hell 😂 You’re all the same for the money!

Thanks for the engagement. I did tell people. I tweeted out asking for others to help provide liquidity on Uniswap as well, so more could buy without as big a price run up.
The forthcoming Mirandus light paper will be a big deciding factor in whether a 100x is still reasonable or whether there will be a lot of MTRM inflation ahead. Without substantial inflation, i still stand by my prediction... and I'm still holding over 1% of the current supply.
