I am a big fan of Angus as well. I just this minute finished this video th-cam.com/video/j9ESt1NYYms/w-d-xo.html that has Paul saying he and Ian were fine with Angus staying on as moderator but after several more shows everyone realised Angus was becoming a target and a punchline for the guests! and the show couldn't properly lambaste the guests if the guest could simply make a joke of Angus and his run ins with drugs and lifestyle choices. it was most illuminating and , now, obvious that because of the adversarial style of the show, Angus had to go for the sake of the show. keep safe and cheers from Connecticut!
I've enjoyed the variety of shows posted that I've not seen yet. I hold no malice for Ian, Paul or Angus. I like the very early years, I like the latest shows from the 60th series, it's how they address current affairs that keeps me watching, even if it's History.
I have a strange addiction to this show, I watch and rewatch all day. Since I live in the USA I can't get Dave 😭, these new episodes are a real boon. Thanks so much.
strange addiction or niche devotion, words spin them as you want, I'm an avid consumer of History via the HIGGY, HIGNFY facility. I host a spot called, ''today on ReWatch'', I watch a LOT of HIGGY , just like You!
I've heard Steve Wright on the radio for years and always forget what he looks like, and every time i see his face I'm always shocked as I never imagine him with a tash
Love the Angus era.

I didn't know Alan Cummings was so sweet.
That guest Mr Cumming is doing well.

Who’s the Kermit interviewer?
Mariella Frostrup
Put in the description please the date it was aired
the roman numerals at the end tell the year, you can guess the season
Wow, so this would have aired in '92.
1995
I put up with Angus: he's pompous. HIGNFY got better (mostly) when he was kicked out.
