Best concert ever, Steve Miller, Lee Michaels, and Buddy Miles Express, early 70’s at USIU Point Loma San Diego. They each performed then all came out and jammed at the end. Seating was on the floor in the gym, no chairs.

"Jungle Love" reminds me of a school fair I went to. One of the attractions was a dark room full of black lights, strobes, posters and super loud music. Once you were in, they blasted this song and "Bungle in the Jungle" by Jethro Tull. Maybe there was a "jungle" theme? When you're a little kid, this seemed like a beyond cool experience.
“Jungle Love” was a song & yell cheer in 74’/75’ at my school and this was during my freshman year and that’s when I had decided to get involved in the tryouts for the following sophomore season. Granted, now I’m, simply, an older Goth artist who’s amazed at myself for stopping in and shooting a listen to a genre that I haven’t a thing to do with. I’m a Dark Electro/80’s Industrial music girl and have been since the 80’s.
Unfortunately FM radio “classics rock” played these songs into the ground for years. Now, for me they are camp fire songs, sing along after a few drinks everyone know em’
Steve Miller did a free concert at Lambeau field in 2018 and my wife and I went. It was outside in the parking lot so it was festival seating 💺💺 great show!
May be his greatest hits but not his greatest music, by far. Steve Miller's first guitar teacher was his godfather, Leslie Paul, THEE Les Paul. Don't get me wrong, Miller is an excellent musician and I understand that he chose to go "commercial" so he could continue sharing his talent with the world. But the music he wrote and the music he played before his switch was his best.
This genre is, actually, not, typically, included in my repertoire of listening pleasure. It’s interesting though to listen to music for memory’s sake, as, these bands take on a journey back to high school days when life was sublime and predictable. However, the last track was more relative to the elements of the electronic music that I listen to now. It reminded me of early Kraftwerk. Before they’d launched themselves as purely a minimal electronic quartet. In fact, from Germany, Kraftwerk were the forefront runners of electronic music when they were creating their work during the early 70’s. There were some bands who were incorporating electronic instruments in the forefront of their work. Steve Miller is one of those artists.
I recall really liking his track entitled “Space Cowboy”, as well as, his earlier material during 71’ - 74’. I had found that his style-at least for my preference- was less of that contrived classic rock/pop sound and a little more non-contrived and more of him.
Whoo hoooo!!!

Hola.
Excelente álbum.
Todo un clásico.
Gracias por subirlo.
Ojalá puedas incluir algún álbum de la banda inglesa de los 70's Barclay James Harvest.
