「中大五十•人」楊振寧 | "CU50•The People” Yang Chen-ning

「結合傳統與現代，融會中國與西方」，楊振寧教授與香港中文大學志同道合，結下了五十年的良緣。除了早於一九五七年取得諾貝爾物理學獎外，近年大熱的「上帝粒子」學說亦源於他的「楊米理論」。現時楊教授仍然為中大物理系同學講課，啟發了不少年青人。
With the same mission, "To combine tradition with modernity and to bring together China and the West”, Prof. C N Yang has built up a close relationship with CUHK in the past 50 years. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1957 and the more recently theorized and confirmed Higss particle, popularly known as the ‘God Particle’, also derives from his Yang-Mills Theory. Recently, he still gives lectures to students in CUHK which inspires lots of young people.
