I've got two with the old style lids which are brilliant and the new version which is simply amazing. Downsides? One is they can taste a little when new but this soon goes. Also, when looking for spares a new lid costs as much money as replacing the whole mug! They are brilliant though, nothing else comes close.
these bad boys are the best! I have three.... one dedicated to tea, one to coffee, and one to cold drinks. all three can go in my rucksack side by side. yeah baby!
I've had 2 one as a gift one bought to replace and now I'm looking for the 3rd replacement. Nothing better. I wish we had more suppliers in South Africa.

I use contigo bottles with San Benedetto cold soda water and the water always spills over my bag and dries documents and pants) ..
I have a suggestion for you, make an exhaust valve that opens from excess pressure, and instead of opening the hole, open the air-loading lever in the bottle. When pressed, the excess pressure will displace the carbonated drink without losing co2 ..

Awesome Bottles, some of the best, although if you make say a cappuccino or something and don't clean the lid quickly it will stink and you wont be able to get it all out. other than that these don't leak and are super high quality!

good reviews , ok i will buy this brand.
I adored Mine! but even with the 'easy clean' lid it's impossible to get clean. I tried everything and still little black pieces of mold keep coming out. I contacted contigo and got no response.
Looks pretty awesome. Gonna buy one probably :)

Contigo Does the lock, just lock the hole at the top of the lid that i drink coffee through or does the lock prevent the ENTIRE lid from unscrewing?
