I just wanted to add a little thing to my first comment : you are so right when you say that being around horses brings us so much peace and well being. A few days ago I have been filming a time lapse (the first one in my life ...) of a shampoo and real spa treatment offered to my mare. Once I watched it I noticed that throughout the whole video I have a big bright smile 😃 on my face. Horses bring so much happyness !!!

I loved that piece from Global! I actually went to find it right before watching this, so thanks for including the story for those who weren't able to view or find it. Hopefully, it will help raise even more awareness about the B.C. Wildies and bring you more TH-cam subscribers! All of your hard work is paying off and you deserve every bit of attention and support! I know I really appreciate you bringing these amazing horses to the forefront, so congrats! That shot of Little Miss's head coming over Annie's back was absolutely adorable! This interview is definitely one of the absolute highlights of your 2022 💫 !!! You deserve all this recognition and you are right to be proud of all you have achieved so far, nobody could ever say the contrary. Now I hope "bit by bit", as Martine said, awareness for the worthy cause of wildies will spread" like a river" over BC ! Some stuff you say in todays video makes me feel quite emotional, some tears in my eyes when you mentioned them going to slaughter if not adopted 😥, I mean I knew this but it's hard to hear ...
When I consider my own horse related evolution over the past years it is clear that I have been very positively influenced by your way to be with horses. I have always had a similr vision of things so this has not been a radical change in my behavior but it has conforted me so very much in my way to treat horses and in my way to work with them, and I am very thankful for this !

The best thing about you Graeme, is that you are humble, honest, and just an all around awesome person. What you're doing is a beautiful thing. You have no idea really, just how many people you are impacting and encouraging to make a difference with these horses. What one person can do, when added to many, many others is amazing. You know what they say about a journey - it starts with one step.
You deserve to be validated for all your hard work. And that you stay humble despite that says a lot about your character and personality (all good things!)
Even when you have to address not to pleasant aspects of having a TH-cam channel, you do it with poise and class, getting your point across without being offensive.
I ❤ your passion for horses. May God continue to bless you and your family and your herd. 🕯🙏🕊 ❤ You're inspiring someone at any given moment more than you know.
I always watch your videos through, a lot of times more than once. I go back and watch my favorite parts *a lot,* lol.

Look at the changes you've made in the 3 wildies in your stable: Mr. Wildie, Little Miss, & Annie. Both Mr. Wildie & Annie were malnourished, coats were in horrid condition, and their feet weren't much better. Little Miss was bloated which can indicate nourishment issues. Look at them now. All 3 are at the peak of health and are great horses. The other domesticated horses are all in fabulous condition. And it's all due to you, plus you are teaching your daughter the right way to treat horses. It's okay to feel pride at what you've done. And I'm glad Global BC got the word out. Hugs, Graeme.

Thank you very much Graeme👍 the video was great, neat and clear! Very well constructed for such a short interview but showing the essential! Little but with a large impact, spreading awareness of the necessity to save these wildies. You deserve recognition. You have been doing a fantastic job that other may discover and start doing too. It is so upsetting to think of slaughter as an alternative to get rid of wild horses in competition with man's lands, as wildlife is in other countries where their territories shrink to give room to buildings and agriculture. Hence the words of the late Jean Dorst, Director of the French Natural History Museum 40 years ago :"is there anymore room for wild animals?" already a concern at the time, when the situation has since worsen on the planet with species becoming extinct so rapidly, just because of man ! Thank you to you Graeme for having us part of your journey to rescue these wonderful creatures 👏👏👏 congratulations 🎉🎊💐🍾🥂

@@algypsy17 yes, thank you! Great interview.. Thank you for the book, I don't know it... In fact, you probably heard of Michael Gzymek (son of Bernard Gzymek Director of the Frankfurt zoo in the '50s) who tragically died at 23 crashing his plane in the N' Gorongoro Crater while counting the animals over the Serengeti in Tanzania, father and son were the first to alarm the world about the impact of man on the planet, pointing out the species already on the verge of extinction, in their book "Serengeti shall not die" a masterpiece in those days..

We are having the same problem in the western US. The new land folks want to get rid of horses and nature so they can fraction for oil, mine. Put ut up solar farms, build factory, horses are being rounded up they are in their way. so very sad. Thanks for what you do. You help us humans also

Congratulations on the piece! It was very well done.
I have always loved horses. It's kind of strange to me how at this stage of my life (turning 60 in Aug), I wanted to learn, not just about what makes them tick, but the training aspect as well. I have found some great, patient trainers on YT (you, of course, being one of them). In fact I just found one fairly new to YT, Tim Anderson, that I think deserves more attention, in my humble opinion (sorry for the shameless plug, but I really feel strongly about bringing more attention to the good ones, just starting out in the area of social media).
Of course, since I'm not a horse owner, I come mostly for the horsey play time now.
I'd give anything to physically be around them. Just like dogs, they are amazing at helping people mentally.
As always, thanks for sharing your herd with us Graeme!
