Special forces and special operations forces (SOF) are military units trained to conduct special operations. NATO has defined special operations as "military activities conducted by specially designated, organized, trained, and equipped forces, manned with selected personnel, using unconventional tactics, techniques, and modes of employment".
Special forces may perform functions including airborne operations, counter-terrorism, foreign internal defense, covert ops, direct action, hostage rescue, high-value targets/manhunt, intelligence operations, mobility operations, and unconventional warfare.

Eh, I've always hated that phrase. I agree with "no surrender" but a warrior knows when they've been bested, and when to retreat, regroup, and reevaluate the situation, if they can get out of that situation to do so. Sometimes you have to take a step back and the build momentum to make it over the obstacle.

Two weeks away from Basic Training and AIT. Six months. Had my greatest fear (paralyzing terror) of AIT dispelled after I did some digging. Newfound courage and will to rise to the occasion; This started playing on the playlist while I gave my gratitude to God. Stood there in shock because of the opening lyrics and comment from Minuteman762.

If you really look into it you will find no real contradiction in the entirety of the Bible.All the information in the world could be laid in front of you pointing to Christ, but if you are not willing to believe and don’t want to change, it will mean nothing. People are really good at convincing themselves that they do not need Christ, but they always find that there is a hole in their lives that cannot be filled by the world.

The passages you mentioned are examples of Gods wrath, you have to understand that God is perfect and that he is also Just. And the just punishment for all sin is death. God knows the hearts and intentions of these people, he knows if they will ever turn and follow him, he knows their future and sometimes He chooses to eliminate those that will never turn to him for the sake of those that will. For example, Sodom and Gamorah these people had become so wicked that they were past the point of no return. God still loves them, but he couldn’t allow them to continue to poison others with their sin. Sin spreads, and I believe that God destroyed those people to save others from following in their footsteps. Revelation as well as some parts of Daniel and Ezekiel are about the end times. This is the point at which all the people that are going to give their lives to Jesus have done so, the tribulation and all the horrible things that happen to the people that are left after God’s are taken to heaven, is Gods last effort to get the attention of those people that rejected Him. He loves them and does everything he can to get them to turn to Him. But in the end, God will not force anyone to love Him. We have a choice, and if we choose to reject Him, all that is left is Justice, and the punishment for sin is eternal death if you do not accept Jesus’ free gift of salvation. We all have a choice and God will respect it.
