I don’t like Dilan in season 2 and I have no problem saying it. Do I find that Yagmur cannot express convincingly strong emotions and that she's only credible in silly, easy scenes ? Yes, I do. Do I like Yagmur, the person ? I think she's cute and I wish her nothing but success in her next endeavours. Will I watch another series with Yagmur ? I don’t think so, but never say never. Will I watch Baris if he'll choose other projects ? Most definitely yes.
God, no...never ever another series with Yagmur. She doesn’t bring anything to the table in terms of acting. She just knows how to smile.
I agree with you. Either it is the writer's script that is hindering Yagmur to flourish as a young actress or the actress still needs time to develop her skill. I was just thinking why Baris is so much more charismatic and at ease with romantic scenes. He is married with experience, and he can draw his emotions from is real life. Yagmur started the show when she was only 20. Baris is 5 years older than her. Maybe her lack of a real life romance makes it hard for her to be more sensual and sexy. Cute can carry so far. But if you need to make a comparison, look at the actress who plays Gul. She started as a maid and now she looks more chic and stylish than Dilan. Some of Dilan's outfits are the worst I have ever seen. One episode that will follow , she looks like the Swiss Miss girl. She is wearing a black and white checkered print dress with a big white collar. I couldn't believe it. Why are they dressing her like a teenage girl rather than a young woman? I am still dumbfounded over the wardrobe choices for Dilan, but it is what it is. LOL

I think that Yagmur played better in season one and in the beginning of season 2. Her character is unbearable now and she's not helping it with how she performs in the second half of this season.

As Baran once said to Dilan, they have never been “normal,” so Dilan locking the bedroom door and fearing for the baby’s safety may not be a healthy way to live, but it is completely understandable considering there is always an enemy lurking around. Baran needs to show a little empathy & Dilan needs to sympathize with the pressure he’s under, as well. Having competent guards and paying more attention to Hasan would resolve a lot of issues.

It’s a wonder Dilan hasn’t had a nervous breakdown long before now. She chose to stay, but the stakes and the level of fear is higher with the arrival of Miran. It’s not unreasonable at all to think someone can enter the mansion without being noticed. It has been a consistent pattern.

I love this show And for the most part both of their characters, but the fact that she has every realistic reason to be scared and he is gaslighting her into thinking she's crazy was absurd. And when someone is that scared and reaches out for help, to just tell them to get over it and LEAVE.
