Rabjam Rinpoche shared an insight into how we should view anyone as a holder of the teachings.

On the 64th day of the Rinchen Terdzo empowerment in Paro,
Khyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche shared thoughtful insights on how we should regard anyone as a holder of the Dharma, regardless of their title or position.
He emphasized that if someone’s actions and work serve the Buddha Dharma, they should be considered a holder of the Dharma (Tenzin gi Kebu) and be appreciated and respected, regardless of their title.
Conversely, if someone’s actions harm the Buddha Dharma and are not in accordance with its teachings, they should be regarded as a Destroyer of Dharma (Ten Shig: bstan bshig), no matter their title, and not be given respect after their behavior is known.
Rinpoche also stressed the importance of preserving and protecting the Vinaya traditions and encouraged everyone to remain true to themselves at these degenerate age.
