Thank you for your comments. I remember the chippy around 1976, we lived on Westbourne Road, I remember watching people buying chips and waited for a turn every Saturday! Amazing video I stumbled across. Liked the drinking school milk story and coal. Snowy winters and frozen milk delivered to door step by a milk man. - some of my recollections. Very inspiring video . Have a lot of stuff back then. I can relate too.
@@javezkhan I definitely will and once again thanks for this information. I was born in Basingstoke but moved to bradford when I was three in 1974 so my interest is bradford I love this city and always happy to learn more.
Lived on Fern Terrace (next door to the Chippy, as it was then) and went to St. Pauls school in the early 70s. Tough times to be honest, a lot of underprivileged people lived in Manningham in those days.
Thank you for your comments. Yes, many people lived a fairly simple life, deprivation etc. The chippy was Iconic. We lived on Westbourne Rd, just opposite and left in October 1977. Please subscribe, like and share with your family and friends. Have a wonderful blessed day 🙏
