Shai's are truly solid in Gyfin Underground solo. Jumped into it today and could smoothly do it. 24.5k w/ L2 230%. Will definitely be able to push much higher as I get accustomed to her. Ridiculously tanky, tons of dp shreds and ap buffs. Shai is truly broken. Also, you can use Sun's Fury hotkeyed, then roll or shift dodge to side to cancel. Then hold f and spam a,s,d or s+f/rmb and rmb to buff up, then click space to jump buff at end. That way you can buff into mobs as you roll through them, or get while landing into the buffs. And you can use the buffing to pull Gyfin mobs too. It really speeds it up. Then a/d+lmb, s+lmb/rmb to get back into attack mode.

Very! 2 reasons. 1: The higher the upgrade the more powerful your buffs become. 2: Once you get it to PEN you can make it a blackstar which gives you a large amount of monster AP

A good basic guide! I'd argue suns fury is used in PVP and (some PVE) - the slow debuff is good vs players and dashing away before it procs allows quicker refresh of buffs semi protected. In addition, shai can skip certain animations with timed small sidesteps and its worth noting the front roll auto switches back to mainhand use. Lastly you can combo twirl boom with take this (and with a sidestep, "try this"). A few of my vids cover some of this in pvp! Keep up the good work

I just started playing Shai again and not so sure which upgrade to invest on.
The sunset artina sol is indeed worth it for the extra monster AP that you get

How did set up your hotkeys for buffs? Can you give us the keys to note in quickslot? Thanks! Good job with the guides tho.
I put misty haze as well as sun, moon, stars onto hotkeys. after pressing the sun, moon, stars hotkey hold f and press a, s, d and it'll give the 4 usual buffs
hey there! i want to play bdo but i don't know anything about classes yet. I want to be a support, is shai still a good support or how good is supports in bdo are they needed?
BDO is quite different from the traditional MMO because of the fighting system being a lot closer to a fighting game than a normal MMO. In that regard it also doesnt have the traditional class roles of tanks, dps, and healers/supports, it's more built so everyone can really do everything and than some excel at their smaller tasks. Shai is the best support and isnt the greatest for combat in PvP but other than her there are really only casters like witch or wizard for support
I made my shai and went gyfin, still do better with my archer... im suck with shai
It's an easier class but any class takes time to learn

Lmao, yeah lately I have finished my pixelation issues so I have been debating making some new guides for old ones that had bad quality
9:50 just dont use it. Time waste, weak and the distance is differenz than all other skills.
Cancel 0ne two three at the beginning and dont use the third skill, its time Waste for the Damage you get.
eat this is time waste, you could cancel it to cast it faster but its not worth.
overall decent Video but missing 6 cancels in the rotation. Keep going. :)
I feel like you missed Crystals/Artifacts unless I did not see it.
No, I didn't cover them for this video. The main reason is that at the moment crystals and artifacts are at a point where their really isn't different builds for different classes excluding very couple of classes, but rather there are a lot of prebuild builds that can carry over to almost every class, and the most common PvE builds work just as well on Shai as any other class. And than artifacts are kinda just the same, and they would require an entirely new video to try and talk about the ins and out to using those. (I do have a video on artifacts and lightstones as well as one of crystals if you are interested). It was also more of an introductory video on the basics, I didn't cover a lot of Shai's passives, I also didn't cover much of her PvP, lifeskills, or neat tricks, it was mainly just a quick into on the basics you'll need to know to grind on Shai.

there isnt a way to directly copy it without manually going in and organizing everything like how I organized mine. Now the good news at least is I doubt you want to copy my setup because it is MUCH more cluttered than it needs to be, lmao. Hell I have an entire third chat screen only for kill feeds 🤣

@thexro9335 this is from the Twinkle Star or whatever its called Pearl Outfit. It changes the skill colors to yellow.

yes, I have been experimenting with OBS and the bitrate doesnt seem to be the issue. Although I think I have figured it out so I may be able to fix it in time for the next video 😊

Sun's Fure used in pve for very hard crips
Meh, it can be but compared to just using one-two-three as a main damage it doesnt do as much, it also makes you stand still for quite a while so it can be quite damaging in dehkia areas
