I have really been wanting to tap into my creative side.. especially with watercolors... I actually got some paint and brushes tonight and then BAM! your video pops up! You say you think the pages arent the best but I think they are STUNNING!! My birthday is on Easter this year (3/31 - how do I compete with the resurrection of Jesus Christ?! I mean I have just decided to skip my birthday this year or celebrate the day before lol ) but you have absolutely inspired me to get into my bullet journal and if for nothing else -- a collections journal where I can draw and paint and practice new layout ideas and just a place to let my mind go wherever it wants. Your videos are always so helpful and wonderful to watch. I can't wait to see what else you do in your bullet journal!! I would suggest keeping it - even if it's just for you, to practice new things and keep your creativity flowing while watching a movie or tv show... Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I was thinking the same thing about finally test driving the paint and brushes I been bought last year🤣 seeing this and your response to having a free creative journal is also what I have outside of my planners. This is exactly where I just let my creativity flow with color markers and stickers.

Spring has already sprung in my mind - I feel ya! Seems as if you have a lot of nice options here. That A6 is too cute and has lots of potential. It could be your EDC/wallet down the line when you're ready to lighten up and the price was great, so no huge investment. How about the bujo as an art/creativity journal? You enjoyed it so much why not keep the fun rolling? From this month on, I'm absolutely going Basic Bujo with a side of soft highlighter, a little washi, some stickers and colored pencil drawings. I do find that although I complain about it, setting up the calendar, weekly and dailies calms and slows me down a little. It's actually a form of self-care, as I learned in another planner group. Great post. Can't wait to see what you decide!
tried an experiment here and there and back to my original set-up for the year. Back to loving it as well. (in a diy planner in EC petite journals in a petite folio)

Spring has definitely sprung !! I love all of the vibrant colors in in your planners. I agree with you the changing of the seasons certainly create in me desire to evaluate my planner system also. We literally think alike. I just did the same thing to finally get planner peace except I’ve now updated with all moterms for my A5 stalogy, budget binder, goals binder, and Notebook Therapy (only) bullet journals. I was using a mix of things, but I couldn’t find myself to open it up or be excited about planning. Now! I’m like a little girl again with her diaries🤣🤣 Thank you so much. You are such an inspiration and I also bought the compact Bible you recently shared. It’s the small pink one. I get tones of inspiration and suggestions from you.
I just started journalling in December and I started with an A5 Kinbor. I'm not very good at following through with plans and I wanted to do a journal for a year. I've been using it daily and having the best time. I use it for memory keeping. I always carried a diary which I replaced with a Hobo Weeks which I love and use it as my dashboard but it's not big enough. I've now ordered an A5 Cousin (Spring start) to replace it as I use it for organising work and personal life. I think this will work out better for me. I am really enjoying your videos and although we have different styles I find them inspiring to watch. I don't know if you have had this recommendation but 'Feel-Good Productivity' by Ali Abdaal is a great read too.

Love the bujo! I bujo in an a6 stalogy but mine isn’t as art heavy YET 😉. I started last year and loved it but then abandoned it. I felt i didn’t have the time to set it up and got frustrated and stopped using anything but my phone to plan. This year i tried an a6 hibino, but now it’s a journal. It was too heavy and bulky to carry around and i love to carry my planner everywhere. Now since mid January of this year I went back to an a6 stalogy and I’m loving it again. The difference? I have a monthly calendar booklet with the entire year. I have a separate booklet with other things i track that need to be set up ahead of time. My a6 is just for my dailies. I don’t have to “set it up”. I just turn the page and I can be as elaborate or as minimal as i want to be or as time permits. Love it!
So I bought 4 planners for this year and I’ve been really sporadic in all of them. 😅😅😅 I have the sterling ink TN size and passport size. Along with a Stalogy A5 and the business/My PA Planner. 🙃 I don’t know why it’s so hard to make any of these work for me long term. 🥲
