I absolutely LOVE this idea! Congratulations on such a successful project. I’d love to be part of something like that here on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

I’m in the process of moving up there post COVID to start a permaculture property and would love to know if you find out about any programs. Isn’t it wondeful!?

It's great to see a follow up of Manu and how she seems so much better in a few months thanks to gardening and a sense of community. I wish her well!

River Cottage in England set up a similar but slightly different set up called "LandShare", where people with land could share it with people that didn't... even pubs got involved but setting aside some of their outdoor space for local gardening.

I love this idea of Farm it forward. I would like to see it implemented here in Iceland where there is a lot of unused community land. This video reminded me of the food growers in Spain that have been growing for decades, but who are actually squatters.

What an amazing idea I currently volunteer at a community centre having lost my job not thru Covid, and we are in the process of establishing a community garden we have constructed poly tunnel shade houses and will set up our worm farms next week. We want all involved along the lines of adopting a garden bed thus looking after the progress themselves. Early stages at the moment but looking forward. Stay safe in these trying times.

That is exactly what I’m trying to do in my community any idea how to pitch it to my local politicians, not as progressive as I would like but there has been movement !

Where are you located? We are starting this program down to the Hawkesbury, which neighbours on the Blue Mountains. Here, Landcare is leading this initiative.
