For the part where san has the hospital equiptment, It was actualy a part of a variety show they have called "Wanteez". In the episodes they are all getting a check up (because hongjoong thought it would be a good idea for them to all get checked together) and get put under anesthesia for an endoscopy. They are all fine, though jongho had a rather bad knee injury recently that needed surgery and a hiatus to recover, however he is now all better and has returned happy and healthy

Side note on San: His dad told him before that he should perform the same way regardless if it was a thousand people watching, or just one. And that is why he lives up to that, and the rest of Ateez as well. You will never see them lazy on stage. I was lucky enough to have seen them LIVE 7 times. They truly are performance kings. My wish is for all Atinys to witness it themselves at least once. I hope you do too. You will fall in love with them all over again. ❤
I want to make a little correction. Mingi isn't rly that quiet or reserved. He's always breaking out into a dance everywhere loll. And he isn't outdated as well! Recently, the members said that san and mingi are moodmakers these days. His actual personality is an extrovert. He has idol friends and connections. And mingi is so real. He always says realistic stuff even as an idol, and it's refreshing. He also has a soft and gentle side like in the guide, and the members say mingi needs to be taken care of. He's so good at freestyling, and now he's released songs that he produced.
Yeosang's dancing and vocals have improved a lot, and he's getting more parts in songs now. Jongho is embracing his maknae side a lot more, being cute and more mischievous.
Hongjoong is now an ambassador of Balmain! Seonghwa is rapping more now, he has a full rap track with hongjoong.
Ateez as a whole grp are competitive af and their team work is phenomenal. Sometimes videos are even cut short bcz they keep winning games so fast loll

I think the creator of the guide was just confused by his anxiety diagnosis. In an earlier version, they state Mingi has "physical anxiety" which isn't a thing and in this one it's referred to as "psychological anxiety" which is odd to me because all anxiety is psychological. You can absolutely be an extrovert with general anxiety or social anxiety, but it can be tough to understand for people who don't have any experience with it. I do sincerely appreciate that the creator of this guide didn't try to romanticize it in any way, because kpop fans have been doing loads of that lately.
@@k8tastrophe yeah you're right. I think they were just trying to get across as to why he would go on hiatus. Like even recently he mentioned in the Atiny project video how he was fighting his battles and looking for something to grab onto. That video was very healing for him. He also mentions how if he needs comfort and someone to talk to, he usually goes to Seonghwa. You can honestly see Mingi be such a cute little brother when he's with Seonghwa. 😊

fun fact: San got into ateez not only because of his vocals but also for his music composition skills. He even got the nickname "genius composer". He's talked about wanting to get back into making music (he stopped to focus on building his dance and vocal skills) so I really hope he gets to show what he can do soon!! (I hope all of them who are interested in it gets to do it, we've already seen a bit now in their most recent album, they all wrote lyrics for the sub-units (along with Mingi and Hongjoong composing and producing) meanwhile Jongho wrote lyrics for his solo so I hope this continues)
Also i still find it crazy that San couldn't dance at all before joining KQ, like knowing this and then watching him dance blows my mind lmao. The definition of dedication, hard work and talent fr. Also San the performance king, exactly! I’ve really never seen anyone like him before, he’s seriously unique
You should watch live performances of Ateez. I've never seen amazing performers like them, it's really incredible. They're all great vocals and dancers. And yes, i agree with you, San can be a great actor. Fot the moment when you asking if San is okay, yes 😊!! It was on their show Wanteez. This episode was one of the most crazy and funny 😂
San is a great performer and an incredible vocalist but above all he has such a soft tender yet strong determined and virtuous personality. He never fails to calm me and soothe me when I'm down. He's an angel❤
Mingi actually has two songs of his own "Untitled" and "Tunnel" which is released not so long ago please check them out they show his personality and in his head
I just realized how similar my Ateez bias and my Seventeen bias' are.. San and Dk. On and off stage duality, fake maknae, sends lots of emotional messages to fans, randomly breaks out into song, loves physical affection, brings the energy and randomness to the group... I love them
I think is pretty normal for atiny to love them all. Even if we have 1 (or more) bias, we love each member so much. I think each one of them are equally important. That's why 8 makes 1 team. ♥

It isn't a set, they really went to the hospital to get check ups and an endoscopy, you should watch that video to see them under the effects of anesthesia, it's very funny.

When they came to London a few months ago my sister and I were leaving our hotel to go to the arena next door and out of the door right next to us, San, Yeosang and Jongho walked out. There might have been another member but we were in so much shock we could barely take it in before they climbed into a mini bus!

There are so many things to love about them. It goes without saying they’re amazing performers, and their uniqueness is what hooked me. No other group in all my life has ever held my interest remotely like they have( and I’m talking 53 almost 54 years 😂) But the fact that they also come across as so genuine and down to earth makes you love them even more. I truly believe what you see with them is exactly what you get. They don’t pretend to be anything other than who they are ❤

Some companies make their employees get a health check like Ateez did in the scene in the hospital gowns and sometimes kpop groups do it as an activity. One of the funniest one I saw was when The Boyz did anal swabs on themselves lol. They all went into cubicles and came out feeling a bit awkward😂

When i was new to ateez San got covid 😮 i saw "if without u " song first time video separately they shot for mv without san😅, but San came back i thought he must be tired and weak buttt....... More energetic i got him in next performing😅😅😅😂, plus i heard in hybe company txt going to debute and wooyoung and yeosang also trainees their but wooyoung selected to add in group but yeosang not so he left hybe but wooyoung did a promis to debute together so he also left for yeosang 😮😢.
Actually txt's lineup was not even close to being decided. There are many reasons it's suspected that he left, one being that he was impatient to debut and perhaps Hybe (or bighit at the time) wasn't being very clear and it made him nervous maybe(?). Another is that Yeosang seems to enjoy the freedom of exploring different areas in music (as evidenced by some of hobbies he picked up) and KQ was probably the only company that offered that (considering out of 6 companies he wanted, he chose KQ who had only been a company that allowed this freedom considering they were a producing company and BigHit had a much more strict training/artistic system). Another (mind you, this is obviously not confirmed by yeosang because there's no way he would confirm this happened or not) is that a trainee had apparently tried to spread rumors about Yeosang which might've caused him to feel like wanting to leave the company (Yeosang was quite a famous trainee, he had fansites while he was in BigHit, so that might be a reason why the trainee did what they did).
@@lilyt6550 ok but I heard they were saying yeosang was upset bcoz wooyoung got selected to promot next in bighit company and yeosang need more practice to pass next level so he left and got upset and when wooyoung went his home to meet then yeosang mom asked him that he is not talking don't know what reason .... But I heard by them this story but which woo left KQ for yeo.
@@KOFAME-fv3tr no haha, that was probably a story someone made up and yeosang/wooyoung definitely did not say any of that. the only they ever confirmed was that wooyoung left the company to follow yeosang
