- This is an almost full walkthrough of Boston's New England Aquarium in May 2021. Due to the low light inside the aquarium, the indoor footage is a bit grainier than I would like. I guess I need to invest in a good low light camera. The Go Pro Hero 8 just isn't cutting it in low light. Hopefully it's still an enjoyable video. Thanks!

My dad used to take me here as a child and buy me a hot pretzel from the vendors outside. This is my favorite aquarium I've ever visited and I think it's beautiful. Im very sad i now live 3000 miles away and never got a chance to take my own son when he was little.
My gosh. I’m having so many flashbacks! I used to go there all the time when we lived in Hanover in the mid-80s. It’s amazing to see how much has remained the same!
Yeah, I don't think this place has changed much in decades, but that's fine. Don't fix it if it's not broken I guess. Thanks for watching!
The New England Aquarium isn't just a tourist site, it is a serious research and conservation center that does amazing work to better understand and preserve aquatic life of all sorts.
This place is sheer nostalgia
I agree!
@@fleabittenadventures I was standing right 0:19 there

So Amazing
Thanks!
It looks like the 1980's in there.
How long does it take to walk through the aquarium? Would you be able to fit in the science museum as well in the same day
It depends on how long you spend looking at each exhibit, but I think you could easily do the whole aquarium in under an hour. Even if you are taking your time, I can't imagine it taking more than 2 hours max. You could definitely go to both the aquarium and the science museum in one day.
Yeah you could. I remember doing both in a day when I was a kid
Great job!
Thanks!
This place is the perfect example how “certain” states are sadly just withering away with time while other areas of the country flourish with new investments and modern infrastructure.
How do you mean. I’d prefer the aquarium to look exactly as I remember as a kid than have them remodel it into something hideous just for the sake of remodeling. Trust me, it was dingy when I was a kid too.
IKR, the only aquarium in my state is a dingy room with small fish tanks that you’ll see in Petsmart. I live in the South BTW 💀
New England Aquarium or Museum of science for 3 teenagers?
Personally, I think that the teens would much prefer the New England Aquarium. The Museum of Science is geared more towards younger kids. But they are both great!
was just at the aquarium this past Wednesday
holy shit in 50 years they haven't changed hardly anything !!!
Thanks for watching. Yeah, it's still how I remember it from the 1980s. It's still good though.
Right????
this is one of the best things to do in boston
It's definitely a must see if you are in Boston.
i AM SO SAD THAT YOU SKIPPED OVER THE BROTULA EXHIBIT
Did I? I thought I saw everything.
"I can walk like a penguin!"
I'm a belfast guy and worked here for 6 weeks back in 2007.
Thanks for watching! That sounds like a fun job!
Going later in the afternoon!
im from lynn ive been there only once in first grade.
It probably hasn't changed much since then, but it's definitely worth a visit.

I’m from the Boston area I’ve been here many times. Such a cool place I always love going there
It's definitely one of the best aquariums on the east coast!
How long do you think to see the whole aquarium??
@@mariwilliams8503 Depends how fast you walk and how long you stay at each exhibit. You can definitely do the whole thing in less than an hour.
