I love these two. Please bring them back.
She destroyed her wedding dress...and why not? She didn't work all hours of the day and night to pay for it.
But why didn't they let her try on a dress with a similar neckline first, just to see if it would suit.
@@adwoamk8918 They showed her fitting, not her chosing the dress. It was her dress that her mom already paid for and that had already been altered to fit her... She probably tried on different dresses because picking this one. She just changed her mind months later and decided to ignore what everyone was telling her. I feel bad for her mom
It went from an elegant dress that flattered her shoulders and arms to .... off the rack. I'm with her Mum. Ah well.

I'm such a brutally honest person that I would have told Laura right in the face that she butchered an otherwise beautiful, perfect dress because she was too stubborn to listen to expert advice. Sorry, that girl had no taste.
I could not believe at her age, that she had her Mother, work long hours to buy her wedding dress, and then ruined it… if she had to paid for it herself, she would not have used a scissors on it, as it was obvious that the lace would look that bad…
She could have easily chosen another dress which has such a neckline.
It was so beautiful with the mesh. Such a shame.
My mum paid for my dress, but she could only afford a friend to sew one for me. It wasn't my dream dress but I was so grateful for her sacrifice.

No it would make it sticky. Starch might help?
In my opinion, she should have left it alone.
The tape worked fine and I got the finished look I wanted and it lasted all night, getting it off was a bit sore though 🙃 x

@krithikas8706 it wasn't spoiled. It looked exactly as I wanted it to on the day and no my Mam isn't a narcissist so didn't feel like I had to wear the dress a way she'd have liked because she'd offered to pay for it. There's no terms and conditions to her buying the dress. 😂

British dress sizes must be way different from in the States, what they are saying is a size 18 there would be size 22 over here. But every bride ends up looking happy and great!
The sizes are two sizes different, just as you’ve observed.

I wish that first young lady hadn’t changed that dress, hadn’t cut the netting lace off. It really ruined the look.

Who ever is in charge of this show it needs to bring it back, I watch every episode and I truly enjoy the way they truly care for everyone who they come in touch with , to them everyone of the ladys who walk to their doors make then feel so special no mater what the circumstances are, awesome two lady's. JO and AL love them to pieces. Biggest hearts ever❤

Are the big size wedding dresses much more expensive? I assume they use more fabric, thicker fabric and it tales longer to make them.
As a sewist myself, and without wedding dress experience, I would think that larger dress sizes are not significantly more expensive because, while they do take some extra fabric, the largest share of cost is the labor; and they do not take a significantly greater amount of time to make.
I appreciate that they rarely talk about budget in this version. It can be too much in the Kleinfelds version. This is all about the brides.
Why “curvy? “ They’re not all curvy. You can be slim and curvy. Just be honest, they’re overweight and on the way to major health problems. They need to lose weight- diet, exercise and, possibly, counselling.This comment does not apply to the special circumstances of the Paralympian.
