The escape hatch, that's one for the "chieftain", "bugger, the tank is on fire".

The guys there explained how the welds were done and how they got the 2 halves aligned for it to me, the guy did a flawless job with the welds, and the guy in the video did an amazing job with the restoration. I am always afraid to touch those toys even though I know I wont break them, because I know how much effort went into the build.
Protecting stuff from high frequency signals, and keeping things from interfering with radios is more complex than people think. I was fixing a basic window wiper motor and couldn't figure out why it had an extra capacitor and choke (Inductor) on it, Turned out both Caps and the inductor were to prevent interference of the motor with the original Communication equipment. He mentioned the shielded spark plug wires but pretty much everything electrical is suppressed. Pretty impressive the amount of thought that has to go into these systems even vehicles that old.
    Thanks for the deep dive.

I love your approach to these interviews. You are not trying to be the centre of attention but instead, you ensure the subject matter and the featured expert are the focus of the content and only ask useful questions to prompt an informative response. Through your videos, you are not only preserving the memory of these fascinating historic vehicles but you are also preserving the knowledge of the people you find and it is clear that you respect both.

Greetings and salutations from Great Britain.
Looks like our favourite Tank Girl just found her perfect first armoured vehicle. It's Sofilein fun size.
NB. You see. It is possible to make right hand drive vehicles in north america, not the usual wrong hand drives. Of course it would help if y'all would drive on the correct side of the road.

I missed it this year - work got in the way. The museum is only about 10 minutes from where I live.
Every time I visit there, I feel like I regress in age the closer I get, and by the time I park the truck and start walking I turn into a 5 year old, frantically running from one display to the next.
If we still live in the area when I'm retired, I will spend some of spare time volunteering at the museum.

I had the opportunity to spent some time in a recently restored Ford Lynx V8 in Milan and Ferrara, and the owner shared a similar perspective on the vehicle: it's agile and speedy. I happen to know two Italian collectors who are in search of tires for their Canadian vehicles, but unfortunately, such tires are extremely rare to find here in Italy. If this collector would like to help them with the purchase, I would be happy to facilitate their connection.

I wonder if they had a rain cover? Or soldiers just had to throw their rain ponchos over the hole or a random tarp ?
I love armored scout cars, in pop culture because of the sheer amounts if Jeeps, thats all everyone ever saw in the movies, for decades... But in reality they are way more common, everyone has seen all the tanks too, to me these little guys draw my eyes more.
