Most of these didn't actually surprise me except for the TUI Airbus A320, I know they have plain white A320s, but I didn't know that they had blue ones too.
A mistake here: KLM DC-9-32 not a 717. I sure didn't know about the Lufthansa Boeing 767-300. The TWA C-82, rather strange, and for a short time was probably used for only freight and mail deliveries. A lot of these others I already knew about.
Aer Lingus also briefly flew Boeing 757s. Phillipine Airlines ALWAYS flew some variant of the DC-10, so that was not surprising. Copa was exclusively a 737 carrier , and when American absorbed AirCal, that is where they got the BAC-146 .(as it was known back then.) If a person knows their aviation history , especially back to the 1970's, many of these fleet members would not be a surprise to them.
@@SwordyAVRealAer Lingus retired their 757s they were not actually owned by Aer Lingus but they were wet leased from ASL. They were replaced by the A321Neos
I even flew recently with that same 767 Lufthansa had to the Caribbean - It s the D-ABUC and now flown by Condor - It will be phased out of the airline sometime this year.
alr get ready for a full on lecture from a native Chinese avgeek. CAAC airlines was the one and only Chinese airline back then until it was split up into 6 regional carriers, including Air China, later the 6 carriers fought it out and some ate eachother to form the 3 Chinese giants, China Southern, China Eastern, and China Southern. Even though Air China ate most of CAAC airlines, including it's livery and most of it's long range planes, theres still a difference pal@@fmplayers9955
@A320_shrek well I mean, if you are an expert spotter, then you might know that brussless has some a330s in its fleet, which goes on international or long haul flights and I also see the Brussels a330 at dulles airport occasionally!😀
Well yes! Many airliners use only A320s that’s why it might be surprising that they have 737s. Btw! The 737 isn’t the most popular airliner since like 2018 👍
Were you surprised?
Ye
I already know it

0:48 That’s a DC-9, you can see it on the engine. It’s very difficult to know what is the 717 and the DC-9.
