Kayak Fishing in Golden Meadow, Louisiana

Got to explore some unfamiliar territory in a place not too far from home while testing out my new (to me) Hobie Outback. Not the day we planned for, but I'll still call it a success just being out on the water!

How do you like the cooler bag? Been thinking about getting one for my kayak, to kinda get rid of having to bring a bulky ice chest. Maybe bring a smaller soft bag for drinks and food. Do you tie it down?

I love the bag I got. It’s the reliable fishing gear brand. A little more pricey but worth it in my opinion. I tied it down with a ratchet strap once and with paracord another time. My permanent solution was to install some 3/4” deck loops and hook the bag to those with some carabiners.
