Great video! I love Norris. We go out of Loyston a lot but, my boyfriend owns property close to the 33 bridge. The property is about 1.5 miles from the lake. I’m a Florida girl & always will be but, Norris is my happy place here. If I don’t go out on the boat at least once a week during the summer, I’m not happy. LOL.
Very nice video - could you give the location of the "long, lost dam" referred to around 9:50 - 10:00 of the video? I've been on Norris for years but did not know of this dam you visited in the video.
As many times I have been there, it was new explorations for us as well. Like the title says "Cove Tour" we were investigating many coves to see what we can find. We traveled from marker 19 to 23 and hit all the coves on the left side (Chuck Swan Wildlife side) but this cove was past 23. Its a cove that goes up near Loop Road if you look at the map. Thanks
Now this is cool!! There are some jet ski/ boaters out there with some awesome footage of me foot dragging the water right along next to them but we were never able to exchange info so the media is lost to time 😔 Bet we could make some sick videos! 🤙
What a fun video to show up in my feed. I have been spending quite a bit of time in Sunbright so I may have to check out Lake Norris. Out of curiosity... how does the waverunner/skidoo etc measure speed? (MPH, KPH). I tried to watch the dash on the camera guy but my eyes just couldn't focus well enough to see.
The Seadoo 300HP is GPS limited at 70MPH. The older skis have a calibrated small wheel thing under the rear of the ski that spins as you ride. I am happy to hear you liked my video.

Super nice! I spend most of my time on Cherokee, but will soon be venturing off to Norris. I would love to know where that cave is. Somewhere between mile 19 and 23?
The goat cave (as I call it) is located near marker #3 North side cove. So if leaving Norris Dam heading toward Mountain Lake Marina, it will be on your right before you get to marina. Another cool one is at the White Bridge but can only see it when they let water out....you can swim in it. All the marinas have a free lake map & the legend will show you where other caves are. Hope that helps & thanks

Great video! At the 10 min mark you visit a ‘long lost dam.’ Where is it? Been going to Norris for years and have never seen it before.
