Another fantastic video Garry. I have watched those videos you gave me when I was in Portland a few times. I have passed them onto Royal Brighton YC library for others to view. Allan Haddow on Ophelia.

Thanks for the video. I am a granddaughter of Athol Innes who lived near Robleys Point and think I may have met old Mr Wilson just before he died. I have a number of beautiful Walter Wilson photos in an old family photo album, some the same as some on the video, so this helped put them in context.

Hi Garry - You mentioned the traditional building skills of the Wilson Brothers - according to family legend, Frank Jackson visited the ship yard whislt they were building the Sheerwater. Frank was concerned about the rate of progress and bought them power tools to speed up the work.

Yeah great vid Garry. Amazed at the sleek lines of a lot of these boats. Is there many of the original sailing kitchen around?

I think the "Derwent Hunter" is now back on the Derwent and was giving tourist trips. However, I might be mistaken about that. I have seen the "Varg", the last yacht mentioned on this video and the workmanship on her was astounding; a true masterpiece.
