Justly famous song... but what a missed opportunity with this video. If you've seen the moonlit stepped clouds over Trinity inlet, if you've walked home alone, drunk, down Shield St, you will know this is as a homage to Far North Queensland, and the nostalgia of a Queensland boy with a guitar who left the cane fields, saw the world, and never found a true home.
Agree. While I know nothing of Queensland, the song is so rich in emotion (sad/brittle/majestic) that you can't help but wish they went for more of that vibe in the video.

I was there too. I remember being mesmerized by their performance of The House Jack Kerouac Built.
