Update I bought a track rite device as my other car had tracking issues. Verdict I’m impressed easy to use with repeatable results.therefore maybe better buying that for £45.
Ok I know what you mean.it becomes obvious when you actually try this out for yourself but I will try and explain. Although the rear wheels are toed in you take your string from the contact point on rear tyre to the front axle stand then bring string line in sideways towards front wheel as close as you can without touching anywhere.at this point you will see how there is a small gap at the front of the rear wheel as should be the case for a rear wheel drive set-up.then because your steering wheel is completely straight you should immediately see the relationship between the string line and both front wheels at the same time. The twizy track width is wider at the back but you can still get a picture of what way your wheels are pointing and can measure distance from the string to each wheel by a measuring tape if need be but I found my eyes were more than capable of seeing any misalignment if present.

Ahm? How do you adjust for the wider track width on the back wheels?
The string will come back at an angle towards the front wheels!
