I’ll wait for the direct drill mods. I appreciate the realistic aspect but damn…probably take half a real day to plant and harvest a decent size field. Especially picking 1 row at at time at 6mph. Good golly!
As I have learned that isn't the worst part. The worst part is if the field is anything less then perfect squares the need for an AI that can only go straight or at perfect 45 degree angles makes harvesting the worst experience ever solo. Even more so on console due to lack of script mods to improve AI workers.
I do not do grapes or olives because precision farming does not work with it. So if for some reason it is not supported in premium, I will not be buying it.
Do you have to have premium expansion to do this there was a root crop silo/bunker mod I added that said it added these as new croos but couldn't find them anywhere in my game
I had a contract for carrots and used the one with the boxes, it was a pain. You have to load them with a forklift then you lose the box when selling. Wasn’t worth the time or money, imo. Then again I got annoyed fast and gave up 😂
Havent been on farming sim in a while.. wanted to take a look at the new dlc - and this looks more painful than the grapes! Furthermore, with crop destruction turned on, AI worker runs all over them! Ridiculous!
The large harvester crashes my game when I try and use it even with a Helper doesn't pick any carrot out any idea anyone please I've been asking people and no one gets back to me
in America most root crops are stored in sheds with conveyers and unloaded into trailers the same way. so maybe they intended for us to just drop a hut down and do that. thats what ive been doing. the DLC did come with a steel hut so thats my guess.
Actually around here they turn Quonsets into grain bins around where I live. Used to work for a seed delivery company and two farms had quonsets as silos one farm used it for corn and the other used it for beans. Bins were too expensive so they just used what had.
@@IG10705 no, you said they would need an update on modded maps to work with the new crops and they don’t! Court Farms hasn’t had an update. In fact OXY sent an update to Giants about 3 weeks ago which still hasn’t come out so how do you explain that the new crops work perfectly fine on Court Farms! The crops work on Western Wilds too.

I’ve spoken to OXY about these crops and he didn’t think they would work and he hasn’t done anything to include them as yet! BulletBill is also as surprised as everyone that they do infact work without updates to modded maps! Don’t go with the attitude of telling people to read what you wrote slower when you aren’t even correct! If they only worked on base game maps for now why is Paul doing this video on Western Wilds? That hasn’t had an update in ages!

With the palleted harvesters you can also buy pallets directly from the F1 menu

How do I get the boxes to spawn by the field? When I purchase items they always go to the store.

@@IG10705they’re already working on modded maps. They’re working on Court Farms and Oxy definitely hasn’t done an update for them.

If you have premium selected when you load in on ANY map modded or not, you can grow all of these crops :)
