      Hello. I used Gorilla tape/duct tape to tape the foam to the board. I folded the Gorilla tape to stick the foam onto the board, then wrapped Gorilla tape around the foam from the front to the back of the board as shown in the video. Once I got the foam attached, I added the flowers.

      With the wood walls, you can repaint. I would use white paint as a primer and then paint the new color on that. Now, I use a collapsible arch frame and just buy different colored stretch coverings for my chiara walls. It's cheaper, convenient, and less time-consuming

    Hi lovely!! Soo beautiful! Can you tell me what am I doing wrong: when I tie big clusters between each other wothout 360 q balloon, the joining becomes evident. Like that they stretch and are visible.. don’t know if I make senses

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello. I believe I know what you're referring to. You're gonna have to twist the balloons around to cover gaps and 'tighten' the garland up. You should also double twist the balloons into the clusters to make sure they are tight. If you find the 260q method better for you, by all means, use it. Hope this helps 😊

    • @solonka11
      @solonka11 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it just tie them wrong.. or overinflate the balloons..

    • @solonka11
      @solonka11 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Instead of leaving “enough” of of space when I tie the cluster of 2 i stretch it so that the ties go closer to each other. Hence the spacing I guess?

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@solonka11 I apologize but I'm still a bit confused. So you tie your clusters together by the necks of the balloons and not with a 260q correct? And yes, if you overinflate the balloons and do not round them out, the Cone like shape of the balloons will naturally create gaps. And again make sure you twist the balloons tightly in each cluster.

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello and thanks for watching! I make my backdrops out of Wood and secure them with cinder blocks in the back. The fabric ones that you can assemble yourself are pretty expensive.. You can get them off of sites like ubackdrop.com. A less expensive option would be to buy a thick 8 by 4 ft insulation Styrofoam panel from home depot, and cut out a backdrop from that. You can then attach some peel and stick In a design of your choice. This works best if you have a party that's inside and not out in the elements.

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. I made the Baby Harris sign out of vinyl using my cricut machine and put it on the wall. Not sure how many balloons were used. I bought mostly Sempertex brand and i purchased a pack of each color in 3 sizes (so 3 packs per color, one in 16in, 12 in, and 5in, except for satin pearl which I only had in 12in and 5in). I also bought a pack of 24 white sand and rosewood, and few 36 inch balloons in blush and black.

    How do you get that mate effect on the balloons? It looks so pretty like that without shine

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. Balloons naturally oxidize outside so just leave your balloons outside and they will turn matte. Balloon shine is used to restore the shine after they oxidized.

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness

      Thanks for watching 😊. I used permanent vinyl, not removable ( it actually comes off the walls after a few days). I also used regular transfer paper. Maybe you can use the strong grip transfer paper from cricut if you're having trouble getting it to stay on. Hopefully this works.

      Can you use permanent vinyl for a one day event? I have to take it off same day because it’s a rented item..also does the permanent vinyl ruin the wall?

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      From my experience, the permanent vinyl comes off pretty easy. Its the removable vinyl that gives me trouble because it doesn't even stick to my wall.

    It's beautiful but I'm laughing because something similar just happened to me at an event. They said it was outside then moved it inside because of storm force winds. However when they wanted it inside their ceiling was too low. They went back outside and securing the thing was a beast I was exhausted!! I learned my lesson and had to change the language in my contract as a result. Not because of the weather but because of the constant moving.
