I found it very creative to reuse water pipes and even more creative, the possibility of making it work in both directions of rotation, with no apparent dead space losses and good heat dissipation capacity in the cold cylinder. thanks for posting. nice alpha stiirling. what is the tachometer sensing. i see nothing on the flywheel. the tach may be sensing the flywheel spokes, which is wrong. the best way to take power off a low-torque machine is via reduction gearing, at the crankshaft. cheers
