As an Australian arguably Americans most dedicated and loyal supporters. I can tell you that before the last election, we were aware that Biden was in cognitive decline. We were feeling insecure and unsettled that our leader of the free world was weak. We are shocked that America's main stream media ignored all the signs..or covered it up. It affects us all.
100% agree, the bit that got me was MSNBC and CNN all kept saying, he's sharp, he's on top of his game, blah blah blah and then he has the debate (which he prepared a week for) and they now say, oh wow I think we have a problem. If us here in Aus knew he was well passed it and was in decline when he was running in 2019-2020, how can they have only just noticed, total BS, they have been covering for him this whole time. I'm no Trump fan boy and as crazy as he comes across, he is a much stronger leader than Biden. Quite honestly Russia and China must be pissing themselves laughing at this shit show.

I have 24 years of experience as a CNA in geriatrics and yes I see the mental decline. I have been a democrat since I was 18 and that was decades ago. As far as Jill and the others using Joe in such a way is elder abuse, which is a felony. I know I would have to report such behavior to my supervisor and if I felt that my report was going nowhere I would report it directly to the area on aging here in my county (NE PA), this way the senior citizen could get the help they needed. I am sure they have some other reporting line down there, I just do not know what it is in DC.

Regardless, we all saw the debate and as more is coming out, Joe Biden's cabinet and advisors will no longer be able to cover for him without some form of incrimination being directed at them. If Mr. Biden does not voluntarily step down by week's end, I expect formal motions will be made and actions taken to address his physical and mental fitness to continue on as President. It will be sad (in some respects) that our first female President will assume office because of Mr. Biden's diminished capabilities, but it will indeed happen and within two weeks we will have a new President.

Yeah we’ve been saying it for 4 years, only now is it apparently evident.
He has dementia People! A long term care nurse here over 30 years in the field!! He freezes because of his syndrome of dementia (SunDowners) that affect some older dementia pts but not all. As some functioning dementia patients get tired they lose capacity to think actively that means their nerve cells from the brain are not transmitting messages completely to all parts of his body and cutting off mid flight hence the FREEZE and the inability to complete his thoughts and just plain form words or sentences! This is a non treatable advancing disease. They can take Aricept to give them some cognitive ability but eventually it just doesn't work. They definitely tried to move his clock back by somehow having him wake later in the day. They most likely needed a week to move it back trying to get the morning around 9 pm for him!

I mean, beyond trying to get the patient to eat as healthy as possible. Have you noticed certain foods can help or hamper the person's mental acuity?

@dayo8843 I'm a long term care registered nurse! I have supervised many nursing homes and worked the floor caring for MANY residents with SD ~ direct care. Sundowners comes on as dementia advances(usually Alzheimers) when the affected person gets tired, so their neurons don't fire fast therefore thought and motor function become slow. There are even adverse behaviors some get. (hitting yelling wondering) Did you notice how Biden has not done state dinners overseas? Most likely he acts as he did at the debate. Also If I were their team I would bring him too Camp D and try to push his clock back . That would be noticed in the white house. So if he wakes up later in the day they are hoping he will be sharper at 9 pm. I feel for the man....He deserves to be resting and enjoying his retirement while he can remember some of it. This is my Opinion from my experience. I graduated from Suny RCC did a semester at NYU then Metro Denver then got pregnant bedrest and became a single mother suddenly so I just worked! always did extra shifts... all over Front Range both Med Surg and Long term care. One of the major Democrats actually was interviewed and said this herself! She was on Forbes on You tube so I am NOT alone with this theory!

I'm no expert, but I was at my father's side as he declined and died from PIGD Parkinsons. The President reminds me of that, for the reasons you mentioned. I don't know the answer, but him running again seems like a cruel joke.

Biden's competence aside, that "rigor mortis" thing is scary. When you reach Biden's age, sometimes your body just randomly "seizes" and begins the "process" before you snap back out of it. It's essentially doing little "trial runs" for your final day.

In his first debate with trump. He needs to get out and it’s scary no one is demanding a cognitive test.
I noticed over 4 years ago and was criticized for saying so.
Cognitive testing for dementia and neurocognitive disorders aren't always clear when given to people with more education and mental exercise. They can compensate for deficits much better to a point where the tests won't necessarily pick it up. It becomes more of a case of judging based on a combination of life factors. A president isn't paying his own bills typically, isn't driving and doesn't need to use a stove. That makes it much easier to mask typical warning signs.

I freeze just like Biden does. I’m 44 and have young onset Parkinson’s. I have ALL of Bidens symptoms. Not everyone with Parkinson’s has tremors. He doesn’t. This disease comes with brain fog, unable to find words, rigidity, soft voice, mumbling, etc
And with these exact symptoms I had to step down from sr management at a big corporation. I’m still on disability. I’m aware of my rapid decline. I can’t run a business anymore. If Biden has Parkinson’s…. His brain and thoughts are mush. Trust me. This is a national security risk

Did your doctor diagnose your Parkinson’s based on your performance on one day, or did he/she look at the big picture and weigh several factors, consider differential diagnoses, consider the effects of stress, nervousness, and sickness?
There's no shame in growing old but there is a danger involved in not accepting that fact.

Watching Biden during the debates was heartbreaking- putting him up there was cruel. Anyone who has watched a loved one suffer mental decline recognizes the signs. Remove him from the White House, no campaign trail, get him the best help that can be found! That is what loved ones do for those they love!
