In 2024 that should be reminded that Sir Bruce Warner and Dr Michael McKenna made the hospital it's known as today. Marjorie Brasch is just a reminder of who's names are engraved on the building of the Shortland Street hospital. And Esther Samuels needs to be reminded of that. It's Chris and Rachel's late fathers who founded Shortland Street and made it into what we know it today. Once a private accident and emergency clinic with operating theatres for performing surgeries and also the PNC clinic and pediatrics clinic all in one hospital building at Shortland Street along with a pharmacy,a hospital cafeteria and flower kiosk. There is the main reception desk in triage on the ground floor of Shortland Street hospital as people enter the famous doors and there is also a nurses station where the DON(Director of Nursing) meets with her nursing staff and team. There is also the ED(Emergency Department) linked to the ambulance bay out back with a shooting hoop. Upstairs via the famous elevator is the CEO of Shortland Street's head office and PA(Private Assistant to the CEO of Shortland Street hospital). There are also elevators that link staff and patient visitors to the right floor of the hospital. There is also a rescue helicopter pad on top of the hospital building with an elevator linking the emergency services to the Emergency Department. Plus not very far away from the hospital are flats and units linked with the hospital for hospital staff and their families. Chris Warner had his own place many times known as The Warner Residence where Chris and his family were in and out and visited. Even Chris's children Franklin"Frank" Warner, Finlay"Finn"Warner,Sarah"Sass"Warner,Phoenix Warner, Harry Warner and Trinity Kwan and of course Chris's granddaughter Amalie Warner who Chris gave over to Tom to look after in Australia. But apparently it seems that the Warner residence no longer exists now that Chris has brought Logan Barnes's flat and is making himself at home in Harry's old room. Which isn't good for him and his major depression episodes he's going through. Thank goodness he's managed to turn up for Etta's surgery just in time to save the little girl's life and hopefully the hospital's. Founders that made Shortland Street hospital it is today in 2024. Sir Bruce Warner( Chris and Guy Warner's late father) Dr Michael McKenna(Rachel and Jonathan McKenna's late father).
Marj is a legend. Remember her vividly.
