I really like the concept made from this game in their community but what is the objective in game? Is it only like this Mortal Kombat fight scene or RPG action adventure?
The moment when they both let the other grab the sword back- That just made it all the more painful knowing one of these two honorable fighters had to die.
Well singleplayer or not it's good to know the devs are still around and making games. They may want to refine their combat before making a second absolver, i noticed while watching the trailer for sifu that they featured the cut staff weapon, which i assume means they fixed the issues they had when they made absolver.
This is sportsmanship at its finest. Just two masters bringing their best to the table and seeing who comes out on top. Anyone who can take a loss as a learning experience makes them so much better in the long run. I admire both of your excellent gameplay and honor.

I have really no idea about this game at all. What happened? I think I saw it shown once ona channel I watch, but that was a WHILE ago...long ass while ago. Was actually kind of shocked to see this in my youtube feed tonight.
The reason it died and only toxic people remained is a rather sad one: The last patch to the game semi-broke the p2p connection system and introduced a onesided lag that made it impossible for equally skilled players to have a fair match, as one was always on the backfoot due to slow response, sometimes even visually notable. Shortly after that patch the devs communicated, that they had to stop working on the game, as they were bleeding money instead of making any, leaving the game in a working and fun state, but unsatisfying for endgame play. As such, the honest players who just wanted to enjoy a cool fighting game with an intricate movement system were slowly leaving the game, while only the glitch abusing, low skilled toxic people remained :/

Dude this feels like an anime training arc where the newly found apprentice is learning the style that has been safeguarded by the master for years. On his lonely mountain only to want to pass on such a responsibility to a student who never sought to use the style itself in the first place. Does anyone else get that vibe? Especially since the ragged fighter moves unevenly and without flow like an apprentice and the noble-dressed fighter looks and moves with grace like a master. I love how you can tell who the more experienced fighter is just by the movement and pacing at which they control the fight. Dance without music and a conversation that is voiceless.
Bro what do I even say for this? With the excellent gameplay, the great sportsmanship and little humor between you too, this highkey felt like I was watching a short length film lol
I remember playing this game just after it came out. I once had a series of duels with one guy that went on for 3 hours. Just constant back and forth. Probably one of my best gaming experience ever.

I feel like it doesn´t mean much for many people but the sportsmanship in these fights with breathing room on spawning and giving back the sword for a clean and fair fight really resonates with me way more than rush/push/bash + insults
Hate this level so much , players just spam attacks with zero skill to try and push you off the platform. Glad to see atleast some players have respect and fight instead of going for a easy win .
I was going to watch another video when this title popped up on my front page, I loaded another video and was so intrigued by the title that I had to look it up. not disappointed
I was playing pirates of the Carrabean before i clicked on this video and it continued playing in the background it gave this video 10 times better viewing experience
The feelings I would get when fighting an equally skilled player in this game, is to this day unmatched. A shame this game kinda died out rather quickly.

@@xzecxeed2548 Yup, unfortunate as fuck, but they did indeed. The game was great at launch, playerbase-wise, but quickly died down. DLC didn't come soon enough, people wore themselves out too fast, and they just couldn't reliably keep the interest of the players who got bored quickly. Once all of those players left, the only people left were the hardcore fanbase for the game, which was relatively small. The rest is history. I still think you'd be able to find a few hardcore players still going, but other than that, you'd only be up against AI bots and the various mini-bosses/bosses in the main story.

I remember hearing about this game years back but never really looked into it further. This is the type of shit that would make FGC live events go nutty. Sad to hear it's not supported anymore
in all seriousness absolver is genuinely one of the best fighting games out there. the combat mechanics you use to counter your opponent.... just when you think you're good someone bests you... *cries in jeet kune do*
this just popped up in my recommended today. never seen this video game before but I consider myself an MMA fanatic so this was beautiful to watch will definitely watch more

This game had such cool fighting. Too bad it got dry pretty quickly it had great potential
