I never get tired of being reminded what my teen years were like, driving to music like this. I really enjoy seeing younger people discover that these musical gems are still around. Thanks for the reaction.
One of the best juke box bar songs - cue stick playing air guitar - looking at the woman I was with still with me at 75 still play air guitar for her still expect the end
I hear this song and im back in 1974 as an 11year kid hanging out with my older cousins in their rooms listening to music they played this a lot and also played cheech and chong comedy albums on their 8 track player definitely good times back then
I'm surprised it took Angela this long to react to Radar Love lol. Btw, this song came out in 1973, not '74. I remember it well. Please react to their other #1 hit from 1982, Twilight Zone. It was in heavy rotation those early years of MTV.
This song is ok, but the one I really like by Golden Earring is Twilight Zone! The full almost 8 min version! I think I've mentioned this before, we may be in The Twilight Zone and or The 🛏️🏨 Hotel California! I know you can only react to Hotel California on your patron channel, but you can react to The Twilight Zone song! Maybe one day you will! Bye 🐈😺 cats!
This line up here played together for 52 years, with the lead guitar and bass player playing together for a lot longer.George Kooymans the lead guitar player also sings lead on some songs, but was diagnosed with ALS a couple of years ago,so they stopped playing as a group.Twilight Zone,Vanilla Queen,Are You Receiving Me and Candy's Going Bad are more great ones from these guys.I saw them live in St.Louis in 1975,they were great live, maybe the best live band I've seen. Thanks for this one.
I was in the U.S. Air Force, having enlisted in '72, and stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, at that time. I love this song and it permeated the air waves during those days. Definitely a classic song from the '70's. "Twilight Zone" was another great song of theirs.
Radar Love was the biggest hit of the Dutch band Golden Earring, in the US too ! Along with Focus, Earth and Fire, they were the bands in the spotlight of the Netherlands in the 70ies, the band was based in The Hague.
Angela, you should take a drive with "Radar Love" blasting in your car. But watch out, you'll probably get a speeding ticket, unless the cop is cool, and likes Golden Earring. I've still got my original copy of the album "Moontan", so next up will be "Candy's Goin' Bad".
Such a great band, check out Vanilla Queen, Big tree blue sea, To the hilt , Sleep walking, Candys gone bad, Twilight Zone, intro/plus minus Absurdio, and the classic cover of 8 miles high from Golden Earring Live 😊 all gems
Great road trip song and a huge hit for them. This is even better live. Next up, try Vanilla Queen from the same, classic Moontan album. Both those songs are beyond belief on Rock Palast, 82 or 83. Great band, enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥
You have never heard of most of the bands from the 70's, which are the best in history. The reason being you were not exposed to them in your limited music career. You seem to be having fun though. I enjoy your reactions. Your face tells more than you know.
I don't think you have played this before. Righteous Brothers, "I Just Wanna Make Love to You". I think if you play it you'll be smilin and jookin and jiven.
I'm a little put back about the "People" who make these suggestions. You seem to give them credit but I never see it, plus your edits are very disingenuous. My suggestion is (not that you care) that you take a little bit more time and acknowledge the people who support you.
Every dude in the 70's got a speeding ticket driving to this song.
Been there brah 🤙🏽
Junior high, but yeah,. Got off with a warning
Several.
I worked at a small truck stop in the 80s. One night a driver came in while this song was on the radio. He said "Ooo! That's my song!".😂
And many dudettes!
'Twilight Zone"' is a great song from these guys.
The only two I know by them, lol.
The video for Twilight Zone was on heavy rotation during the early days of MTV! Great video
@@phillipschwoerke8374 Yes, like Radar Love on FM radio in the 70's.
With a badass video too
@@dedcowbowee you should look up 'She flies on strange wings', or 'The devil made me do it'.
This song got a lot of airplay when it came out..... instant classic rock song.
One of the ultimate road trip songs and the louder the better
Golden Earring were still active until 2021.
They decided to disband after the guitarist George Kooymans was diagnosed with ALS.
When the lady smiles...is one of their best songs!!!!!
A fave road cruising song that always bring back good memories.
This song was played on all the radios in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The Netherlands finest. This was huge in 1973. I was lucky enough to see them live.
Glad you got the groove of it. For me I was in 9th grade and oh my God so many great memories with this song.❤

Great reaction 🤙🏽 we rocked this song hard growing up in Hawaii back in the days.
Great song & love your reaction!!!👍❤
Great classic tune by a group from the Netherlands! Great beat and tempo. Nice chair dancing!
A gem from the Netherlands, I was 13 when this came out.
Gaz UK.
Radar Love ... right on!!! :)
Really popular song back in the 70’s
This song has a special meaning to me as it was one of my late wife's favorite songs.
Your wife had great taste in music; my condolences.
@@tonyallen9035 Thank you
@graemeturner2536 you're quite welcome
I thought we'd get some chair-dancing, Angela! And, I was NOT disappointed!!! 🥰❤🎶🎸🥁
This was a great cruising from back in the day...
On July 7 1975 I watched GE perform this song on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert TV SHOW.
The next day I left home for the United States Air Force.

@tonyherrera9329 I was sent to Grand Forks ND. Also know as Gopher Flats. My MOS was Pavement Maintenance.
Like working for the city.
Awesomeness

I still miss your whistle intro.
They are from the Netherlands.
Great hidden Gem from my days love it
I'm a truck driver, and this song is like an anthem to us.
Lovely Angela. Good choice.
Paying tribute to the teen tragedy songs of the 60s like Dead Mans Curve and Tell Laura I Love Her. Always bumping the guy off in the final verse!
This is a great song to run listening to. Great pacing.
A classic from the 70's by this Dutch group.
Angela the hair is looking fabulous!,,😍😍😍😍😍👍👍👍👍
Listening to this song while driving you can definitely get a speeding ticket really quick
This song came out about the time I got my driver's license. Nearly got me in trouble.
Got no love for the radar.😂
I remember the release, I am that old, lol. Still awesome after all these years.

Great song! On the radio all the time!! 😅
My son used to drum his carseat to this song 🎵 ❤🎉
Love the rhythm
Gr8 band, never get tired of this song 🎵 😅
Every this used to play on the radio while I was driving I would speed up fom 70 to 85 as if I had no control.
played to death on fm radio back in the day, such that you would start screaming when it came on. totally forgotten now.
Memory serves they are actually Dutch. Couple hits in North America, but mainly Europe.
Such a great band, check out Vanilla Queen, Big tree blue sea, To the hilt , Sleep walking, Candys gone bad, Twilight Zone, intro/plus minus Absurdio, and the classic cover of 8 miles high from Golden Earring Live 😊 all gems
Golden earing was a Dutch rock band.

Enjoy while it lasts, as this song gets taken down.
Its not the first time I been here before your 🗣⬆️gives you away 🗣⬆️👍🔊👈
In 1974 I worked as a Roadie/Security for a Golden Earring Concert. NONE of the band could speak any English.
Great song for the highway
From a Dutch, " 45 miles".
Mr Quick Restaurant 15 year old in Radar Love in 1974
"Switch" is the song I like, no reactors react too but very good

Fun song, thanks Angela. A lighter sounding country take on driving might be Eddie Rabbitt's Driving My Life Away.
This song pairs well with Deep Purples "Highway Star" . . . . .
Stand up ang want see u dance, ,with your beauty your rock in that sweater
They were Dutch, they didn't have another big hit until 1982 (Twilight Zone) after MTV had started.
Hey Angela, slow down driving 😂
Definitely a Rickenbacker Bass... I know because I own 2....
Thank you dayone may I have another
Twilight Zone is one cool rocker ❤
You stumbled onto a classic 70's rock song Angela checkout Twilight zone by this band.
Nothing country or southern about this or Long Cool Woman. This is on my short list for greatest song everyone should know.
Great Rabbit Hole. Try Candy's Gone Bad or the Vanilla Queen and many more.
I don't think you have played this before. Righteous Brothers, "I Just Wanna Make Love to You". I think if you play it you'll be smilin and jookin and jiven.
rock and roll is fun, am I right?
Next up Golden Earring Twilight Zone
Next highway star deep purple
