i love my 1996 ram it’s amazing, i’ve driven newer trucks from 2010-2020’s they don’t compare to the rugged feel. has just enough to get you by and they are so easy to get parts for
I'm slowly getting an idea of what I want out of this truck and what I want to put into it. I've made some mistakes with past car builds and I don't want to repeat them.
You will get going👍🏻 you’re a great mechanic. Great videos! I love the fluid leak comment. We used to say that back when I was working on Gulfstream II’s with Rolls Royce Spec engines. They dripped oil from the gear box vents. Pilots hated it doing preflights.
You have your work cut out for you. I would probably just do the heads, but with over 300k I don't blame you for doing the bottom end too. My guess is a burned exhaust valve. Too much of a load on regular unleaded? It was just passed it's expiration date? Who knows?
Cool addition 🔥
