    Please do the cortisol lecture. I can tell you that since I have came off of a benzodiazepine abruptly since they worked the gaba receptors that’s when my PMDD has gone through the roof. I noticed that every month when I hit my cycle and my hormones drop, it’s extremely bad now because I am going through The withdrawal from the hormones progesterone since they work the same receptors as GABa. And histamine is also another issue along with the Cortisol that increases depression. Histamine rises, increases, anxiety, and depression. Evidently, if you’re stressed, your body will take your progesterone and turn it into cortisol.

    Thank you so much for this extremely informative video.
    I'm 44 and the past few months the rage has been outrageous the week before my period. The rage comes with these gnarly migraines. I generally take 800mg of standard chaste tree at night but the week prior ive noticed that if I get a migraine during the day,if I take 400mg of chaste tree, it elevated the migraine and calmed me down,but that means I'm taking 1200mg of chaste tree during thaose days. Is that too high? I really really appreciate you so much, you are truly helping us❤.

      Dosages with Chasteberry are difficult to be honest because they vary depending on the brand/formulation/production. Maybe send an email through my website with a photo of the product and I'll see if I can help

    Question for you Dr Janelle. Can you combine all these treatments at once or is that too many supplements / too hard on the liver? For example, should I take Vitex + progesterone cream + DIM + CDG + 5HTP + GABA... PLUS I am wanting to start HydroxoB12 + Folinic Acid + PS100 + others (B6 + Iron + Zinc + Magnesium +Vitamin C) for methylation purposes based on your slow COMT / MTHF videos.

    • @DrJanelleSinclair
      @DrJanelleSinclair  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Vitex and progesterone are really the only ones I wouldn't take together. But so you know what is helping I'd suggest that you try vitex OR progesterone, DIM or CDG, 5htp OR GABA to begin with.

    Thank you for this excellent presentation. Please could you say which supplement is needed for homozygous SOD snp? Is it ok to take this if you also have homozygous COMT & MAO snp's?

    I started taking Chastetree recently and it was helping my cycle but I was gaining Weight and feeling puffy, honestly it scared me so I cut it out and went back to normal, is that something you’re aware of? Is that a common side effect?

      That's interesting, it does the opposite to me,but I'm also estrogen dominant.

      Possibly a histamine reaction or gut health issues maybe gall bladder.

    My ferritin is 28. I know you said iron is important. My iron levels are good just the ferritin is really low. But that can still cause problems right?

    • @DrJanelleSinclair
      @DrJanelleSinclair  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes low ferritin is very important even if iron blood test is alright. I like ferritin to be at least 50 for a menstruating woman. Ideally 80. If I was you I would supplement with iron daily for at least a few months and also increase red meat intake.

      My ferritin is 18. After taking daily 1000mcg B12 metylcobalamin injections for a month, I think I over did it and ferritin tanked from 35 to 18 in few months.
      Now I’m trying to raise it back and taking Profferin 10mg X 3 a day which is heme iron.
      How can I get it to 100?

    • @DrJanelleSinclair
      @DrJanelleSinclair  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@anatino ask your doctor for an iron infusion or take 3 times what you are taking now. Those iron are quite weak.

    Dr Janelle, my depression and anxiety symptoms come AFTER my period, from days 4 to 8/10 they are really debilitating. Could this be a form of pmdd? My hormones are supposedly normal😢

    • @DrJanelleSinclair
      @DrJanelleSinclair  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's obviously not very common. I would consider a) iron deficiency or b) estrogen deficiency.
