I had the exact same idea. We need to be able to size up the sprays to 200% They look really off when they just little pngs slapped on. It doesn’t feel like a customizable skin, it feels like a kindergarten art project
[TLDR at the end] For the people who refunded theirs soon or were unhappy with the limitations, I 1000% agree with all of the changes people are suggesting for them. They definitely could be better and more universally useable, and I REALLY wish we got more colors, or at least more shades and tints of the colors we did get. PERSONALLY though im satisfied because I had a VERY specific idea for a combo concept in mind that I'll possibly never take off now. It's a niche plan I had for months since I was already running Kiara K.O. as a custom pizza delivery person with the old Pizza Pit themed cosmetics. With the new pizza themed cosmetics, and the Pizza Pit wrap, i made a brand new delivery person like I had planned. Caper "Special Delivery" backbling "Extra Cheese" glider + the new pizza pit pickaxe and contrail from the Battle Pass Then I took specific sprays and made them worn and desaturated to create the effect of flour from pizza dough all over the body. Everything just aligned for me perfectly personally, but outside of this one idea i already had it can be very annoying coming up with stuff for them in general TLDR; Im satisfied specifically because these skins as well as the pizza cosmetics in this battle pass just so happened to perfectly aligned with my main combo I already used. Outside of that though, it can definitely be frustrating to use them with the current spray slider and color limitations. I 1000% agree with the changes everyone is suggesting, as well as a need for more colors for them overall
I think they should allow the use of the little emoticon icons on these skins, and then the animation for them only plays as a reactive thing, when you get a kill or open a chest etc.
I am really liking the Skins so far, but I definitely agree they feel a bit harder to work with at such a small Scale. Everything on the Limbs in particular just feels sorta awkward most the time. I really like it for the Face, Torso, and Shoulder tho! As well, considering the nature of Sprays, you'd kinda expect to be able to have them overlapping? So it feels a little weird they completely avoided that. I gotta say tho, these Skins got me thinkin' that this Concept would work REALLY well as Customizable Tattoos.
I think that like mask, chest and back are the main placeholders. I missed the option of scale up too. I love that instead 10 skins with different appearances they do 2 and appearances are styles, I hope they do in the future and give us the option of merge similar skins are styles.
I think you should’ve taken the time to unlock the headgear and additional sprays. There are some sprays made for the face you unlock from the challenges, and are really good (the skull trooper face spray would’ve worked for your Day of the Dead combo). I’ve always made an effort to collect as much sprays as I can (free and earnable ones) since Chapter 1, and I feel like it has paid off, for me personally, with these skins. So the impressions on the skins definitely depends on your collection of sprays. I do think they need more color options (how is there no yellow?), be able to adjust the position and scale the sprays to be bigger, and rotate the sprays.
Can you add the skulltrooper spray that the male has on the female skin? Because if so I’m going to buy both. If you can try it out and get back to me it would be much appreciated 🙏
I couldn’t agree more with you, I’ve refunded mine because I couldn’t decide on a good combo. My sprays that I wanted to use didn’t look right and looked weird. If they add more options to rotate and move the sprays so they fit the mask I’ll buy but right now they aren’t exactly what I wanted.

Rating comes down to your imagination and what you can do to the skin, in my opinion its a solid 9 could add and improve on the customization options like x,y movement and rotation and with a higher scale it would be better
some sprays are just too small. they should let us go to at least 150% of their current size and also let us rotate the sprays. it's nice that we have 16 options for where to place sprays, but I feel like they look better when we use less of them.
I do wish we could do more with scaling and also with the outfit colors. but i'm just glad that sprays are no longer useless. and although people might find these a little lackluster i do think these are a LOT better than the one colored superhero skins

Male is better because the sprays fit better on his larger team (especially on the chest) the devil horns are cooler and he doesn’t have a weird gap on his side
I like them, but I don't like the way the other arm isn't covered with the sleeve the same way the other is, it's a small and honestly minor issue for me, but I feel like it'd look better if it was a sleeve like the other arm.
It would be nice if you could have 1 spray take up two spaces as well like both arms for the webbing or both legs just something to make it feel more conjoined and not like a bunch of random ideas
Was excited for the female skin but the back spray placement seems off because of the sling thing causing some distortion on it. Its not flat like on the males. Nitpicking but eh

Dude there are already 2 separate Wrap skin bundles in the game, do you not understand the words "Spray Skin" if you want to put wraps on Skins there's plenty of others you can do that with

I think the problem is that Epic held them back for too long, generating too much hype around them and now they feel underwhelming. If I remember correctly they were fully leaked in Ch4 S1 and people pointed the scaling issue out back then already. You would think that epic held them back to work on then, but they changed literally nothing. Might buy Alias, but I think its rather a skip.
This is why I don’t overhype things. I think the skins are pretty cool and I would buy one if I had enough vbucks. But the people that hyped it up for no reason would be disappointed since they probably though this was going to be superhero 2.0

Man I was so pumped to finally have a good use for sprays. I love the art and had always wished they could be used in some good way... And unfortunately these skins are not it. It's a good concept but an awful execution. The sprays are so tiny and unnoticeable. Not to mention the lack of customization outside of the sprays. IMO every problem these skins have could easily be solved by just making every spray on the body 2x bigger.

It’s great if you’ve got tons of the other custom items (banner stuff, far out, omniblade etc) it allows you to make some really cool combos

Definitely, they are very customizable but still plain, simplicity is nice and I like simple skins but these were overhyped (still great skins though)
