Would be nice if you can turn on the setting where your weapons’ levels show during the wave. Gives me anxiety seeing gray weapons in late levels lol

Would you consider doing this with another weapon (non-gun) at some point as an extra challenge? I believe shotgun (guns) were used in the class guide. I do of course recognize that choosing to ignore a weapon type defeats the purpose of Random/Random, but there might be interesting combinations out there still to be experienced.
I can't remember, did you ever mention if shotgun could work for Lich? I know meta is slingshot, but I feel like a shotgun on a Lich could be fun.

Edit: TLDR answer to my question below from very smart people: "+EXP items have diminishing returns the more you get which doesn't make them bad, but opportunity cost says it would be best to buy other things!"

Also, could you explain a little more about why taking xp gain items is less valuable here? Intuitively it feels like leaning into the strength of the character would be better than not but i'm bad at stat comparisons lol
Diminishing returns. Think about it like this: you get 800 exp from a round and 200% of that would be 1600
If you’re building it up from 200% it would start to not be as valuable. May as well start building stats that are low instead of focusing on one that’s already strong.
+200% means x3
+220% is x3.2
the effective gain is 3.2/3 = 1.066 which is a mere 6% xp gain.
@@MVTVM thank you! Fun fact, doesn't change your point but I heard xp-up actually reduces the materials needed for each level up instead of increasing the amount you get! I thought that was cool. Thanks for answering my question, you're excellent!

Does crit chance on shotgun function the same way as life steal or can you multi crit on peirce?
crit checks for each individual damage instance, so some pellets can crit while others don't or they can all crit if you roll well
Do you have any endless runs? I can't find any.
I haven't done one on youtube, mostly for time reasons - a good endless run guide would have to go to at least wave 60 I think, which is like 3 or 4 hours of recording
Didn't you do Shotgun Mutant in your guide?
I did guns mutant starting with shotgun, but I think that's pretty meaningfully different from shotguns only - either way, those guides were done 6 months ago so I'm not going to worry too much about repeats anymore probably, unless it's something that's just too obviously the same. My play has changed so much since then that the videos will just not be very similar I think.
