- vidhAtA - The one who grows what is planted
Story - This story is from mahAbhArata. Kunti, PanDu’s wife and gAndhAri - DhrutarashtrA’s wife were pregnant. Kunti gives birth to Yudhistira. Gandhari feels why am I not delivering and that thought hits her stomach. In that force, a mass falls down from her stomach. She repents saying I should have waited. She goes to Vyasa bhagavan and asks - what to do now. vyAsA breaks that mass into 101 parts and puts each of them into dry coconut and oil. After putting them, he chants - Om vidhAtrE namaha - meaning let what I planted grow properly and that is how the 100 Kauravas and their 1 sister were born.
Message - When we chant Om vidhAtrE namaha daily, whatever seeds we plant in terms of our thoughts, words and actions, will grow beautifully by Divine Grace.
Affirmation - May my seeds of good and auspicious thoughts grow into beautiful and kind words and meaningful and purposeful actions.
