My 2000 Explorer Sport is very close to this color. I love driving it but it is mainly retired with only 150,000 miles. I also drove a 1977 t-Bird for 13 yrs and put 300,000 miles on it. It had a large engine and could go very fast. I am a Ford lady😍😍 Can't imagine why this gent is selling this classic. I wish I hadn't sold my 1977 t-Bird.
Tom. Old chevys are for street. Old fords are for off road. you'll notice when you type in 70s ford f series on search most of them are 4wd set up for off road. When you type in 70s chevy trucks most of them are 2wd set up for street.
Sweet MAN! We have ours in primer! Go take a look at mine. I think you’ll appreciate where it came from it sat in the woods for 27 years! We wanted to get a hold of it before a tree fell on it two days before we Bought it it from the original owner, a tree fell on it and smashed the windshield! We drove over 2000 miles just to get box sides! My husband flew all the way to “New York” for other body parts. An older gentleman friend of ours had to go out there and get his brand new roll off truck so they flew out and drove back in the tow truck along the way stopping & picked up parts! You did a beautiful job on your restoration. Thanks for posting! #BobsDaughterBobie ❤️💃🏼
"Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packin' right here, alright. We got 4:11 Posi-trac out back, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo-jet 390 horsepower. We're talkin' some fuckin' muscle."
Jim Garrison, no such thing as a Ford "turbo-jet" engine. "Turbo-jet" is a GM term. My 1977 F150 460 engine puts out 515 hp and runs well on pump gas. It's street legal also.
@NCjohnnyrebel Just there for storage. I took out the stock jack and drilled the holes in a ammo can to match then bolted it in. I used to keep whatever fluid I was leaking the most of in there. Also it was good for making a baked potato in a pinch!
@karitop10 Actually man I hate to tell you but they were on there when I got the truck. If you show my videos to a guy worth his salt at pipe bending/welding, he ought to be able to fab it up for you. Then you'd just have to get it painted. I'd recommend something like skateboard cover for the step itself. I never put anything on mine and just having bare paint got slippery when wet. Good luck!
@Trucker06660 I sold it a long time ago. It's funny how even after over 2 years people are still asking to buy it. Maybe I should have held out for more money!! ha
@volksjager8 - it's awesome. it's a 79 in fantastic shape. I'm actually selling it too now though. I was going to put in a 460 but kind of started running out of money. Since then I've gone diesel. Videos of that will be up soon hopefully.
Random I know, but is there a stock rear suspension block on these? If so how big is it? have a 3 inch lift from previous owner and want to drop to stock the right way.
hey guys i have a Ford f 150 truck 4x4 model 89 its got a factory 5 stud front disks and the rear diff sterling lsd 8 stud I am trying to get the mags like your truck in 15 Inch any where in australia sell them
@volksjager8 - I've slept since then but I'm thinking I was asking 9500. I would have been willing to come down some but I found my Bronco I wanted and just traded for it.
It's been sold a long time. I'm actually at the point now that I'd like to find it so I can buy it back! If anyone knows where it is let me know. Last seen in Waxahachie, TX.
Is it in any kind of shape? My experience with these is that you're better off spending a little more up front. Let the previous owner take the hit and you get to spend money when/where you want rather than having to spend it to keep the truck running.
I got my '78 2wd at an auction for $550. While I agree that it's not always smart to go for the cheap truck it's not always bad. Make sure you're checkin it over before you pay though. Great trucks
That green just looks AMAZING! Would love to have one just like that!!😍😍
This truck has always been one of my favourite! It never goes out of my mind ! Good job
Man that's a good looking 77 F150 and that 460 Sounds awesome.

I more of a Chevy guy but that is a sweet truck dude. Love those 70s Fords just as much as the Chevys.
YankeeSoutherner1945 I agree. I'm mainly a Ford fan, but I like the 80's Chevys more, while I like the 70's Fords more. :)

Thank you God 🙏 I found my dream truck 🇺🇸 Amen

Let me tell you this buddy, the older you do get the more rules they're gonna try to get you to follow.

+Ryan Cross It'd be a lot cooler if he was. Alright alright.

Ryan Cross I was thinking the exact same thing!!! Lmao I had to look in the comments and make sure I wasn't the only one 😂

VERY nice truck. GAS HOG!!! 4x4!!! I LIKE IT!!
Very similar to my '77 F150 but mine has a 460 from a '69 Lincoln that has some performance mods.
I miss my dads old 77 and 79
I didn’t know Wooderson got into restoring and selling old pickups in his later years.
Is that a ammo can under the hood at the 1:30 mark? If so I love this truck even more.
Yessir. Fits on the jack studs, just drill a couple holes in your ammo can and you've got a place to bake yer taters!
😂😂😂😂🤠🤠
Fucking sweet truck!! I'll buy it right now
Nice green.
Wish I could order new 1977 trucks for the company.

I put a 460 in a 77 with a top loader trans. I put a 450 holly on the top and I got 18 mpg with it still had tons of power
How much did you sell this for? And why the fuck isn't Ford making trucks like this anymore?

I have a question, what measurements were the tires and rims?
@karitop10 Actually man I hate to tell you but they were on there when I got the truck.
