fun and work even with a lot of pressure works good you'll remember these memories forever
Great job and excellent team work! So glad you opted for eye protection. 👍
I’m enjoying watching you working on this project. It’s great to see such teamwork and that’s a good young cleaner you had there! I’m sure that it will look fab when the conversion is completed. That’s precision work, cutting out the positions for the windows, there’s absolutely no margin for error there. Hats off for doing it to perfection. The van is really looking like a camper now, from the outside. Looking forward to seeing the next stages of the build.
Thank you alasdair, appreciate your lush comment of support. He did do great albeit very worried about it. Hope you enjoy the next episode XxRR
Typical on the day the windows turn up it’s raining - brilliant job - what a transformation in a day - look forward to the next one - thank you, all the best, David & Rachel 🙌
Thank you 😊 yeah always the same this British weather never fails haha we are happy with the result XxRR

Well done, looks good. Far more brave than I... we needed to buy one that had all the windows already! :) Alex.,
Thank you Alex, the man did a great job albeit very nervous to begin with haha XxRR
This is going to be a great van build journey, the whole family bringing some slills, so lovely to watch
Looking good Guys!, I used to work for Mercedes Benz commercial in Edinburgh for over 25 years and we used to send Sprinters to a company to get converted, can’t remember how much it was off hand to do the windows but you Guys are doing a good job!.
Best wishes
Bruce & Linda x.
Loving your van build, you two are always so upbeat and happy, an absolute pleasure to watch and we love your little family, reminds us so much of ours 15 or so years ago. Keep up the absolutely fabulous work. Looking forward to watching more of your great van build!! Love Carl, Jackie and Daisy xxx
Got the popcorn ready, swapping between you guys and Gadget John's build, Just need to think of a prize for the best one!
Haha enjoy the popcorn, be sure to add some rainbow 🌈 strips for some extra pop! Hope you enjoy thank you XxRR
A brilliant start to the van build. It may have looked like Stu was doing everything but we all know about the other jobs that go on behind the scenes so no need to justify yourself hun. You’re a great team.
Looking forward to watching the progression. Much love Liz n Gray ❣️
isnt this done yet , man you had over a week come on stue , and totally agree with the messing up bit . lol
Well done they look amazing. Thats a stressful job for you to do. Not only have you got us all watching you but the pressure to get it spot for fitting with no room for mistakes and in a short time too. 👏👏🌟🌟
Thank you we had fun doing this one but it was scary doing the first one XxRR
Fantastic job! Love how you all work together!💕 Can’t wait for the next episode!💕

Hello guy's...The windows look great and now the wiring..Good luck with that 😀 👍
Bless you love. We know who did all the work. While he stood there filming you lol. Lovely job guys can't wait to see the finished look.
Looking forward to seeing how you guys get on. Well done on the windows, nerve racking I bet.
Wow that van is so tidy. Looks like you’ve bagged a good un. 😊
Thank you, it’s got a few dinks on the outside but nothing that can’t be sorted XxRR
Well done you two. looks damn good doesn't it. here's to you both... sorry young lady... THREE! looking forward to the next one!
You and stuart are always so positive, this is going to be really good to watch this van conversion, are you then sending roller back xx
Lovely to see you guys all working together on the project. It’s going to look awesome when it’s done. We will probably end up getting Crafter envy 😂 xx
Thank you both, very kind of you to say, will have to show it off in person once it’s done XxRR
Hi I'm looking forward to this van build series. It would of been better to put the windows in with suction holders but fair play you've done it. I would advise to thoroughly test for water leaks before your next stage. 😃
Thank you for your advice, that’s a great idea we have checked though and no leaks hoorah!!! XxRR
Keep up the good work guys "great watching your videos !! Lovely cheerful family. And good luck with the build 👍.
They look great guys! Well done! Looking forward to more updates. 😚👌
Put a big magnet next to we’re your cutting it will pull the filings to the magnet
if you got a good helper then it makes a big difference on any diy
Thank you Allan totally true that is, I think it makes all the difference to performance to be honest 😂🤣😂
❤ looking lush 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you Doris, completely changed the look of the van doesn’t it? XxRR
Hi Charlie Stu ,well how scary was that cutting the hole for the windows my knees was knocking for you ,but as expected you done a great job Charlie sure done her bit well done both of you ,it looks great with all the windows in situ ,so now looking forward to the next part ,till then take care keep yourself safe,John 🇬🇧🤔🙏👍🌹👀🫣🤭🫢
Thank you John, you’re right totally nerve wracking hoping that’s the worst of it ha ha XxRR
Looks fantastic!! Welcome to the VW owners club. You should embrace the VW scene and come to some of the festivals with us. Keep up the good work
Thank you Peter, appreciate the offer may just do that. Charl had a very beetle back in the day and loved the events XxRR
brings back memories of when I got Viv-i-van and how big she looked after she was stripped down. I felt such triumph when I got the bulkhead off. The sense of space didnt last though and though she looks beautiful, viv-i-van seems small now and I wonder if I should have got a bigger van. I'll look forward to watching the progress. Regards and respect-Kenny
Thank you for sharing Kenny, hey your van is fantastic as it is.. hope you enjoy the rest XxRR
Good job on the windows guys, it’s nerve wracking cutting holes, I admire your bravery, was bad enough when I did hole for Ariel cable lol
Thank you 😊 probably should have chosen one of the doors for the first cut but al worked out fine XxRR
@@TheRollingRucks tradesman mentality do the hardest first, looks great
Looking good guys! To say Hermes had it, it's a pretty clean base to start with🙂Can't wait to follow your progress 👍
We thought that too Kev, we all know how these cans get battered in the wrong hands XxRR
Could have been a owner driver financed by Hermes, lot's of delivery companies do it.
You've done a great job I would say, and a real worry if you get it wrong, when cutting such big panels out of the body work, so well done. The rest of the build should be a lot less stressful, although there is a lot to do alright.🤔🤔🤔👍👍👍
Thank you, it was very nerve wracking but al ended well thankfully, as you say the rest should be easier …. Hopefully! XxRR
Looking good 😎
Can't wait till you reveal the new layout 😁. Great video as always you lovely lot 💜x
That takes some courage to cut into the van 😮 - you guys are more skilled than us but still fair play to you, we’ll done . This series is going to be very interesting . Best wishes Helen and Martin
Great work guys keep it up, really looking forward to this and will get some tips from you as you go along
Defo keep the ‘granny handle’ we do t have one and it’s like climbing Everest getting in the van 😂😂 You have also tempted me to have rear windows as Jade wanted them and I was torn but they look good and I do miss the morning views that we got in the Bongo ❤
Probably paint it tbh yellow is a bit bright for it! 😂read windows are a must for me although Stu didn’t really want them, then we saw a van without today and I said.. “yep glad we did it” if it’s what you want just go for it! Creates lots of light XxRR
I stumbled on your channel, ive subscribed i live in Northern Ireland moved over from Pembrokeshire. Cant wait for the videos transforming the van. Im sure the bulkhead is worth selling
Thank you Gareth, welcome 🤗 we hope you enjoy watching this challenge XxRR
Its too late to suggest masking up the van😉....all those bits of swarf that are getting in your eyes, are also melting into your paintwork and will rust later on. You will also get loads in the inner sill areas. I would suggest hoovering them out thoroughly once all the cutting is done. While the van is un insulated, it is worth melting out the foam in the inner sills (i have done a video on it on our channel). Have fun😄
Thank you for the advice, appreciate it. He did go and get goggles etc but if an after thought mind haha XxRR
Good to see you've started your build journey guys , I might be doing one myself so hope you don't mind me stealing your ideas 🙂
Great vlog 👍 if you’re still going to the NEC can you take a look at the Wildax Altier it’s on a MAN and is all electric with a diesel heater no LPG!
Cheers
Hi Steve that sounds right up our street so if we see it we will certainly take a good look around XxRR
OMG what are you two like? As much as I love Crocs, they're perhaps not the best thing to wear when doing a van build 🤣🤣
Aww man, get some eye protection on and gloves 😢
Thank you Michael, he was told… ha he still has that black tar on his hands XxRR
Looking forward to this build but could you please sort the music volume it’s waaaay louder than the video itself
Looking great so far. I take it those windows won't open? Are you having roof vents?
Awesome! and it doesn't matter who did what bit, all skillz are needed and Amelia did a great job to! you are a great team and seeing the manbutt put his carpenter skills into action was great and you just know its going to work out just fine :)
This is so lovely of you to say, he’s the skilled one so il just clean up after him and hold the camera a bit haha XxRR
Thanks for the report. You all made a brilliant job and Stu's talent is fantastic. It looks really impressive, already. Question unrelated for Stu: How on earth do you cope with the blanket 20mph speed limit, mate? It would drive me crazy. Looking forward to the next one. Dave in Torbay. 😉
Great video, you had me cringing though when cutting the metal, I know somebody who lost an eye to a fragment. Certainly looks a professional job.
How come you don't release the video earlier in the day?
Oh fish that’s horrible he did get them
On after mind!
We tried that didn’t make much difference? So we stick with our usual time XxRR
Great start guys, is that a week of the 5 week build gone. It's going to be tight😀
Haha you are right especially with all the rain we’ve been having! XxRR
Get an electric step.... Thule is the one on my Moho. 😉
Eye shields and ear defenders guys....stay safe!!
Love it! " Can I have a go luv" You were stuck for an answer at first!
😂😂😂
