I know practically nothing about Yu-Gi-Oh and I’ve never watched the show or played the card game before but I still thought this was really funny (and also very well made)

I really do hope this stuff gets a lot more traction in the youtube algorithm, you have good editing and an entire cast of friends doing voices, it definitely deserves at least another 50k views at minimum for this amount of effort.

Too be fair, Yugioh has always been a complex game because in Japan, it’s main target demographic are actually teens. I mean the OCG packs all say on the back “対象年齢12才以上” (Translation: “Target age 12 years and older”) Which implies it’s for early teens or older by Japan’s standards. Also the show was never intended for children. The anime is a Shonen. Shonen manga and anime are primarily for early to late teenage boys (12-18). Now I get it if the abridged series makes fun of the 4kids dub of the series, but in Japan that’s not the case.
6.28, indeed, especially considering what they threaten to do later. this is something i noticed in anime: for some reason, framing people (or, at least men) for sex offenses isn't considered a big deal. well, maybe it's because culturally those offenses are treated so lightly.
