Nate Dogg's song G Funk from the album G Funk Classics Vol 1 & 2 brought me here. The sample shows respect, but the original is just butter. I got here and can't leave. Took me back to my youth. I knew all the lyrics, and I hadn't forgotten them.
They’re all amazing, but WeeGee was lead in this set… i’m literally unable to differentiate different color, shades of clothing, color blind.. but he’s wearing what looks like an orange color or russet brown?
@@Kathy-bk6cg He's the one in red he was the lead on their first album whatcha see is whatcha get in the rain was their biggest hit did two more singles with them before he left toast to the fool the devil is dope hey you get off my mountain
@Carla Petty1312..I, totally agree with you. The singer in the white is Elbert Wilkins His style and execution of those moves are flawless. I, can't tell you how many times that I've watched this video to watch his moves. Of course the choreography credits goes to Larry Demps Aka Squirrel (the singer in the purple) who choreographed their performance as well as designed many of their outfits. I love all the members of the Dramatics ❤❤❤❤❤
Elbert Wilkins is the singer in the white suit. But It was William Aka Wee gee the lead singer in the orange suit who died from a heart attack and that occurred years later after he had left the Dramatics. The singer and smooth dancer in the white is Elbert Wilkins ❤❤❤❤❤
This is one of the best recording ever in my opinion, the whole group was super talented, '[Wee'' Gee] was exceptional, a pity he didn't stay with the group a little longer.he is as good as David Ruffin n my opinion..
As a little girl I remember this tune and everybody kept saying Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get!! Flip Wilson said it when he was Geraldine.😄😆😄 Anyway I always loved this tune!!
This was the original lineup after the Detroit riots. L.J. Reynolds and Lenny Mayes came on board afterwards. Both bringing a uniqueness to a very well-tuned group. Sadly, most of the original members have passed. However. The Dramatics' left a major imprint on harmony, style and class to the music industry.
This is it in 2024 . 🔥
❤
Yes, 🔥
Indeed!!🔥🔥🔥
Yes it is!

THIS IS MY SHHHHHHH...
Still listening in October 2024 enjoying this more & more every time I hear this song ❤xxxxx
The one and only Ron Banks. One of the best falsetto tenors ever. RIH to all the Dramatics that have gone on.
All of them have amazing voices, wow!! Always loved this song. 🙂
And checkout the dance moves , Just as good as the TEMPS if not better,
The singing groups, just like the bands, back in the day, were so good because the competition was so good. Steel sharpens steel, baby!!!
Clothing is superb, pants are not showing their backside. True talent back then. Rest in Peace.🙏🙏🙏
The best line-up right here for one of the best groups,The Dramatics in this group everybody was lead singer, with a different tone of voice..
And they all complimented each other perfectly which is a rarity these days.
Classic 5, raw talent! If the had stayed together, could have contented with the Temptations!
To me they are!!
were just as good as the TEMPS with their dancing moves. Whatcha think?
Man they had it !!! One of the greats......
I wish this today's music The Dramatics be jamming
This is one of the best recording ever in my opinion, the whole group was super talented, '[Wee'' Gee] was exceptional, a pity he didn't stay with the group a little longer.he is as good as David Ruffin n my opinion..
Most Definitely the greatest since released
I can't say that I've ever heard a more dynamic voice than Wee Gee Howard's. What an ensemble of talent here.

My pops raised me on this kind of soulful music and they killed it when they harmonized "HA" with that step back movement.
Bobbette, this is one of my favorite songs. I remember hearing this in Florida on a Nashville channel...Randys❤
