This guy is awesome and so generous with his teaching and I do not understand why he hasn't got more people viewing this...he certainly has opened my eyes to another world. God bless him...

I am not "going" to be like my idol... That puts it somewhere in the future...but if I tell myself, remind myself that I AM a writer, singer, high performer of whatever stripe...then I am obligated to do things towards that TODAY.

    Guiding Principles:
    1. Orientation: "What genuinely matters to me?" "What do I want my life story to look life" "What is my general goal?"
Use this to avoid being distracted by jobs or activities that keep you away from your goals.
    2. Motivation: "It's whatever sets you persolally on fire in accomplishing your goals", it's the emotional energy that pushes you to reach your goal. But motivation does not last. "We exhaust ourselves if we try to be motivated all the time". Then it's time for the 3rd principle to kick in which is
    3. Discipline: "I have a system set up which keeps me going, even if I don't feel like it." For example you lost your motivation to go to the gym, eventhough you know you have to, no problem, then you just use sheer discipline "to go through the motions to get things done".

    1. What generally matters to me. You don't want to be busy with things that keep you away from your goals. What do I want from my life.
    2. Motivation. This is the emotional part. Motivate yourself with what sets fire to you.
    3. Discipline. This is doing what you have to do even when you're tired and don't feel like it.

Trying to get my Entrapanuer sons to listen to you, however starting our business we are (bought it from someone who was screwing up badly, big story, I'll write it someday) slightly pulling our hair out. I'm a fireman right now, trying to get a head of the fires. excuse my crudeness, but I keep bringing the horse to water from the desert, apparently I need to feed them saltines as well. I was going to put the saltine somewhere else and thought better of it. Your video's make a lot of sense, going from making 100k a year to being homeless and now running a company again I'm working my way up. 1/2 my pay is going into the company to later get paid dividends. Renting a room from my ex and sleeping on the floor until I get my goals. I don't understand why so many just follow the cow infront of them. I am much happier making my own way then "being secure". You'll see me at toastmasters someday, I never knew it exsisted. I happen to love public speaking. I love inspiring teens in reality and learning how to learn.

Seriously why would he want to get a better understanding about the concepts that he is asking to be explained.
Didn’t anyone ever tell him that any question is a stupid question and definitely should not be asked.
