Hi Steve! You can put the frame over top of an existing toilet, doe every step, except attaching the bucket! If you need to, you might have to remove the backrest. @nmd2963 I cannot get the seat or lid to "snap on". Is that what you mean? I have even tried a gentle tap with a rubber mallet
So that’s what the bucket is for. I have spent the past week cleaning the floor.
