Aspiring junior web developer here. Awesome job explaining the basics of Mongoose. This has helped demystify a lot of questions I had going in. You've earned my subscription! :)
This is a super high quality video, please please please, make a video that show us how to create a second database and connect to that one, either with the mongoose abstraction or the native driver. I have not been able to find a single video or form on the entire internet that explains how to do this properly.
The most up to date tutorial on how to connect the dots and bring it all together. Ever so grateful for this lesson. If you could please make an instructional video on how to use multiple connection strings within mongoose to access different databases/collections and best practices to follow. Thankyou much.
It would be interesting to see a side by side of the same functionality in Mongo, and also some extra Mongoose videos, since the presentation was well executed. Maybe building upon what you already have done, since there are things that get missed in libraries, unless the developer is constantly looking. With the best will in the world, showing how commands actually get used, gives so much more context, than a example in the documentation. Context is king.
I don’t understand why the id is not a simple integer or string inside the query result. Inside my JavaScript frameworks I need to serialyse the result and I can’t with this id value. Why?
Is there a con to using just mongodb?, The tutorial im following use mongoose and im thinking i want to keep it simple yet i dont know how crucial it is.

There have been a few video's here done by mongodb advocates saying mongoose isn't needed really.
