'Freight Train Fails & Delays' WCML Trains 2024, DIRFT 14th May

With the first Class 66 to pass me on this trip to DIRFT failing just down the line at Rugby my visit here didn't get off to a great start, and with it taking a couple of hours to rescue it and delays to other freight workings(and diversion of one I wanted!)in the meantime, this two hour visit turned into a four hour stay. Still, there's some nice sounding DRS Class 68s and Freightliner Class 70, plus a couple of new units with TfW 197 and WMR 730, so it wasn't a wasted trip entirely.

Ahhh, so thats why theres the occasional Sheds on the old Bilton Rugby-Leamington Spur... so they're filling in that big old deep cement pit with HS2 Spoil?? I did wonder what had been going on down there.....
