That is amazing! I love how it's a study level, and how they walk you through the start up. I don't know if it's me, but the jet also feels bigger than the dc designs, which is a good thing .
I usually don’t fly fighters, but I was on the Kennedy CV-67 back in the early 80’s. We had VF-11 and VF-31 hope they are in the package because I'm buying this thing. It’s always been my favorite fighter of all time.
@@Pilot0083 I was just messing around with this jet and actually got it into an irrecoverable flat spin. Jester had punched out 20 min before, so I used that ejection seat and hit main menu. Kudos to the folks at IndiaFoxtrotEcho & Heatblur for that feature. That’s some frosting on this beautiful cake right there!

Maybe someone can help me. Why the afterburner flames sometimes don't show up when throttle is at 100%? It just happens randomly, sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. It also happens with other jets. There's any solution to this? Seems like some kind of graphic glitch. Any help appreciated, thanks. :) Another thing, cockpit interior lights aren't visible on external view so at night cockpit from the exterior it's completely dark. It breaks immersion. Considering the high quality of the plane in the other aspects, don't know how they missed this. Hope they include this in a future update. Amazing work!
More like the Heat blur and Indiafoxecho f14, Heat blur did most of the work, India help them put it in fs 2020, should really check the dcs version, way more precise in term of flight model... And you can really be a Rio and be Maverick and Goose 😁

@@104thironmike4 not a problem , the plane is the best thing the sim has seen . I personally figured it was bc of intake process something’s got changed . Same thing happened with Deimos su-27 when I tested it . It released and sound was not the same . Keep up the good work
It took Heatblur 5 years to developed it for DCS with the experience they had developing the Saab Viggen. The F-14 was released in 2019 for DCS. Since then it has had multiple updates to further add features and improve it overall. IndiaFoxTecho just happened to be the partners Heatblur chose to help port it over to MSFS.

The 2 previous ones we have on xbox are kids toys compared to this beast! It's not only better than both of them, it is the best military aircraft to come to the simulator overall! No comparison!
i actually dont understand the purpose of heatblur by implementing this plane to msfs. I have nothing to say about the plane, I have flown it more than 500 hours on dcs and its working as good as it does there but like no missles no kabooms no pvp i really dont know

Because you can fly the whole world and not everyone is interested in simulation. Some players just want to chill flying a good representation (at least graphically) of their favorite fighters over the world.
There are people like myself who did time in the Air Force who are not looking for combat, but enjoy the flight. A fighter pilot will most likely never see combat in his life. Most don't.

I agree it does . It feels correct I have sat in a couple and they are massive . This is the level we need on all fighters

Don't worry about the rough landing, navy gears handle anything haha! (Don't forget to switch HUD mode though for landing, right mid console.)

Just Flight dont mess around. Vulcan will work just fine. All their planes rock on xbox.

The DC Designs Tomcats are hot garbage. Shit textures, shit FM, shit model and shit sounds. So glad HB/IndiaFoxtEcho made this tomcat.

Yeah it seems little buggy right now, only issue I have found . Outstanding plane
The sound is a bit off no? Especially when outside and in afterburner. Very quiet.
That’s my only concern is the sounds need to be amplified

Does anyone else have issues with the start up check list when it gets to 50° man? I put at 50 and jester doesn't go to the next step.
After you do that click the master reset button then you are good to go

This is a Digital Combat Simulator plane. Obviously everything that drops from that game to Microsoft FS will be the best you can fly.
Wings were too far back, in the stowed position. Not sure if it was a visual glitch or not.

I really don't get it. What is the point of flying fighters in MSFS? Buy it for DCS and have some fun with it.
I do only flight with fighters. My main plane is the Top Mach Studios F22 Raptor and i have alot of fun.
Well it is a lot more fun to fly the Mach Loop in an F-14 than a Cessna 172 and currently we can't fly the Mach Loop in DCS 🙂
