Unity definitely has my favorite version of Hidden Blade. Don't get me wrong, Connor's blade is pretty cool too, but it actually makes so much sense to me to have a silent projectile integrated in the Hidden Blade so Assassins can be effective in both close and far range.
Ya, Connor's is pretty cool. Before playing AC 3 I wondered why you would want it to turn into a dagger. But it made sense both as utility for skinning animals and it gave different positions to attack with, similar to an actual dagger, just a bit more restrictive
Ong you are accurate with that one. I also love Ezios hookblade. It makes sense that assassins should have a tool for advanced climbing. They should definitely combine the two one day.
Just a little note about the paintings in Arno's dream, they're there to symbolise the death of Arno Dorian as we knew him up until that point, going from his birth to the last painting of him diving off of that ledge into the remainder of the dream. The painting's title "Mortis" literally means death, implying Arno Dorian dies here and is reborn as the Assassin Arno Dorian.
all the words are latin phrases meaning "birth" "child" "youth" "adult" "death". they have other meanings implying his maturing over his life but they are essentially symbolizing as you say points in Arnos life and his death to be reborn an assassin.

@@billjaywarr6509 From what I gather, that particular Assassin actually did a tremendous amount of work to halt the speed and growth of the Templars. @@masterassassin791 of course! Also, i just had an idea i thought I’d share with you about a possible video series. I think it would be really cool if you did a bracket-style tournament of the very best missions throughout all of the games and crown a winner for the “best mission in all of AC”. You could make polls for us on here to be able to choose which missions we’d like to see in the bracket and what seed they should start at. Then you could do videos of you playing through the two missions facing each other at every branch of the bracket and choose which mission you think is better (or you could make another poll for us to choose the winner if you wanted to go that way). The winner moves on in the tournament and the loser either drops out or enters a loser’s bracket. Think like a college basketball March Madness bracket/tournament sort of thing, but instead of two basketball teams playing against each other, it would be two AC missions going against each other. You could even classify the missions into “conferences” (like how the NCAA basketball tournament has four conferences of teams facing each other) that group them by mission type. It would just be a lot of fun to watch a tournament like that and also give you a really nice bank of video ideas lined up and ready to go. Plus, we have all seen videos ranking the games as a whole, but I have never seen any videos ranking the individual missions or having them face off against each other in a tournament to find the very best mission. Shay had a lot of potential. I wish Rogue had been given much more care so that the story didn't feel so bad. The idea of being a Templar was cool, but done terribly. The settings were AMAZING, I love the north Atlantic, and the gameplay was an improvement on Black Flag.
There's a new mod called ACUFixes which adds the ability to use tools mid-air, when hanging on walls etc. Also empowers catch-ledge and more. You should really check it out!
Impressive run! Unity is also one of my favourite installements in the series, GG! looking forward to Mirage. Oh BTW do Rouge for sure! love your commentary during the walkthroughs!
I don’t know if you would see this but there actually is a temporary alliance between Assassins and Templars, albeit in modern days, and in comic form. It was against Will of Wisps iirc who want to resurrect Juno.
I'm pretty sure that whole prologue sequence did set up a few points that are referenced later in the game. Especially with Germain's goal of making an order inspired by Jacques de Molay vision. Also teasing the sword of Eden for later
Hear me out. everything in assassins creed is real. Ubisoft is abstergo. They made these games so that it would seem even more unlikely. With it seeming even more unlikely they can do what they like with little risk. Ubisoft (abstergo) take over the world. Templars win
I always thought the relevance of the intro session of the game where Jacques de Molay gets toasted was to silent introduce (even if we don't know in that moment) the sages, since he's one.
Ya, I remember seeing them in that level and was like, "oh, this is from the next AC game, that's so cool!"and was totally waiting to see Shay in the background in Unity
I genuinely didn’t know that the “wrong carriage” Arno runs into in the exposition of the game when chasing after de la serre’s carriage was Germains until I watched this video, the more you know I guess, that’s a cool intricate detail tbh
im so glad that mirage is finally going back to the old style set in one city because the last few games were so open world and less stealth that it didnt feel like assassins' creed
I like in ac2 when Ezio says “all this talk of assassins and Templars. It reeks of fantasy” because he couldn’t believe the secret societies existed. Every other soon-to-be assassin is just like “oh y’all are assassins that’s dope. Mind if I tag along?” Idk just kinda makes them feel less real.
Unity just FELT fluid. I remember playing this back when it first came out on Xbox One (Actually got the Xbox One bundle for it) and I loved how smooth everything felt compared to the old ACs. To this day, I put Unity up there with the old ACs because it still has a few of those classic elements in it with a touch of some new technology sprinkled in
My dream about AC games is simple: a AC game where you are a medieval templar, it would have been so sick i would be happy with a medieval AC in general doesnt matter if the MC would be an assassin or templar im sad they didnt had the idea before or simply didnt make it.
My idea about a templar game was kind of ruined by valhalla showing the creation of the templar order (I think they name drop templars in it, but if they don't, then my idea still works). The game would be set during the crusades. We would play as one of the first recruits of the templar order (the real one, not the secret society from the games). At some point, we would need some help to continue our work of protection, and we would eventually be approached by the order of ancients, becoming their public figures in exchange for their backing. I don't have a very precise idea for what the story could be, but it woumd end with the first ceremony of the templar order (the scret society this time) where the protagonist fully embraces the cause of the secret society, which he had only adhered to until then as part of the agreement between the templars and the order of ancients. So this would basically be templars creed origins
@@docomega7862 Honestly your idea is pretty cool, ngl i wish to have like this templar MC who is already a full blown Templar of like mid to high ranking and the story is yes a classic AC story but from the POV from a Templar like in AC Rogue but it would also be a personal story where we unravel the past of the MC and how it affected he himself as a person and also the majour events of the bigger story, i think it would work very well.
When I first Started watching this video. I thought it was a new game because of the graphics, but when you told me it was an old game of very surprised
Will you being doing these series for mirage and yes a syndicate pt2 would be fantastic also could you do a series where you platinum every assassins creed game (if you have a playstation) cause that would be awsome

i have to point out that "touche" doesn't exactly mean "key", and even when it does: not as in a lock's key. It can have different meanings, such as the act of hitting (touching) your adversary in fencing (that's why even old fencing movie have people yelling "touché" (touched)), or someone's personal "touch" (a artist's "touch", the "French Touch"), but the main meaning is a part of a contraption which you press or touch with a single finger to make it do something. So it's more in the meaning of a light button, but in some scenarios what we would call a touche in French are called a key in English, such as... A piano key, or a keyboard full of... Keys!

Unity was a weird one for me. Upon my first playthrough of Black flag I had mixed feelings about that title at first, so I was eager to try unity me having never played it. Honestly so much frustrated me until I realized more of how in game mechanics and other stuff worked. I ended coming back to unity like black flag and feeling relieved. The assassin experience in unity is so sound. I ended up completing the enigmas puzzles via TH-cam videos and I did all co op missions many of them I did solo.. somehow.. lol honestly impressed by a lot from unity.. you have mentioned before your not huge on the story or the Elise romance... Me personally I came to enjoy both the romance and the lighthearted aloof feeling that comes with being a witty assassin. I'm kinda a huge simp though, so yeah. I personally haven't hated the story or characters from any of the AC titles. I especially like Evie Frye, And Kassandra as characters. They're so girlboss slay imo
Ya, I liked the romance, but I'm also super into having romance in action media. I definitely prefer Arno's personality over Ezio's, even though I do like him
7:33 XD man i can't. great job on making it sound muffled
idc what anyone says it is canon arno heared that muffled "I make my own luck "
bless you for makin my day better , i personally enjoy the video with all of its jokes
you are the only youtuber that does it like that
FROM THE SCREEN TO THE RING TO THE PEN TO THE KING

That’s my crown that’s my bling there’s always drama when I ring😭
Man i’d love to see some playthroughs of ac games, I was so sad when you died in the recent ac3 vid cause I wouldn’t see the end and yes, I’d also like to see rogue.
Ya, I saw a video on those and some others. They looked amazing. Too bad I play on console 😔
Imagine he gets spotted before he becomes an assassin.🤣
Impressive run! Unity is also one of my favourite installements in the series, GG! looking forward to Mirage. Oh BTW do Rouge for sure! love your commentary during the walkthroughs!
I reckon that the guard was the guard that almost saw you and he went to investigate and got up to the same building you were on after the cutscene
15:53 nahhh that’s actually crazy, never thought of it like that until now
The one we’ve all been waiting for
U can already tell this is going to be a banger
I don’t know if you would see this but there actually is a temporary alliance between Assassins and Templars, albeit in modern days, and in comic form. It was against Will of Wisps iirc who want to resurrect Juno.
This was the Video I was waiting for!
And now Assassin's Creed IV Black flag
Good vid
master assassin and master youtuber! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo
I always loved how Unity picks up at the EXACT moment AC Rogue ends❤
I'm pretty sure that whole prologue sequence did set up a few points that are referenced later in the game. Especially with Germain's goal of making an order inspired by Jacques de Molay vision. Also teasing the sword of Eden for later
Hear me out. everything in assassins creed is real. Ubisoft is abstergo. They made these games so that it would seem even more unlikely. With it seeming even more unlikely they can do what they like with little risk. Ubisoft (abstergo) take over the world. Templars win
nothing is onto bro
Let bro cook💀
tell that to the stock prices lmao
I always thought the relevance of the intro session of the game where Jacques de Molay gets toasted was to silent introduce (even if we don't know in that moment) the sages, since he's one.
7:48 this killed me man lol
Ya, I remember seeing them in that level and was like, "oh, this is from the next AC game, that's so cool!"and was totally waiting to see Shay in the background in Unity
1. I'm Arno
2. Elise
3. I MAKE MY OWN LUCK😂😂😂
I genuinely didn’t know that the “wrong carriage” Arno runs into in the exposition of the game when chasing after de la serre’s carriage was Germains until I watched this video, the more you know I guess, that’s a cool intricate detail tbh
Man would love to watch a full playthrough of 100% stealth unity and the dlc
9:49 couldn't agree more bro
Love the vids you make
LOVE YOU
im so glad that mirage is finally going back to the old style set in one city because the last few games were so open world and less stealth that it didnt feel like assassins' creed
This didn’t age well
I like in ac2 when Ezio says “all this talk of assassins and Templars. It reeks of fantasy” because he couldn’t believe the secret societies existed. Every other soon-to-be assassin is just like “oh y’all are assassins that’s dope. Mind if I tag along?” Idk just kinda makes them feel less real.
can't believe this game is nine years old and it's better looking than some of the newer games today, and you should really try again at syndicate
I never noticed the British accent because I usually play this game in French for the fun of it.
Congrats on 1M views!
7:33 The edit was so amazing. Nice job😂😂👌👏
As punishment for the apple the guards killed my father💀
Anybody else notice that Arnos face and hair model is literally just remastered ezio
Have you done Black flag yet?!? That's my favorite AC game!
Not yet
The Jaques De Molay actually carries to the story as the guy's sword is actually eden's sword which is Later used by Arno Victor Dorian.
Part 2 of Syndicate?? YESSS PLEASE!!!
Man brilliant you should start walkthrough these games much love bro 🔥🔥🔥
Unity just FELT fluid.
I remember playing this back when it first came out on Xbox One (Actually got the Xbox One bundle for it) and I loved how smooth everything felt compared to the old ACs. To this day, I put Unity up there with the old ACs because it still has a few of those classic elements in it with a touch of some new technology sprinkled in
This guy is so legend
Finally I've been waiting for unity
Same Thing
Absolutely love all ur vids and respect your opinions. Keep up the great work🎉🎉
I miss the Phantom Blade. It was so cool and useful.
Finally someone that loves unity just as much as I do❤
Yo just wondering if you could rank all the assassins creed games from worst to best that would be cool
1:22 thick of it by ksi ft trippie redd reference??? Blud had a vision #talktuah #lunchly
@@docomega7862 That wouldn't work. The Order of Ancients transition into the Templars.
@@GloomEater read my comment. I already said that valhalla ruined the idea, just that I found this story more interesting
When I first Started watching this video. I thought it was a new game because of the graphics, but when you told me it was an old game of very surprised
arno and élise: *are talking*
Shay: *Hey,kid wanna see something cool?*
Will you being doing these series for mirage and yes a syndicate pt2 would be fantastic also could you do a series where you platinum every assassins creed game (if you have a playstation) cause that would be awsome
I’m hoping syndicate goes on sale, it’s the only ac I haven’t played and the time period looks so interesting to me
You've got a shit ton of unrealized potential. Kind of a shame that it is not going to be realized since you don't seem to be considering doing playthroughs anytime soon. 😢
Can you elaborate? Kinda agree but your comment comes off pretty rude
@@boiimcfacto2364 I didn't mean to be rude but it feels really sad whenever I see talents like his go to waste. The way he talks, makes jokes, gives his opinion without irritating fans. It just feels like he's born to be a Streamer.
@@drumsofliberation3470 Ahh I see what you mean, 100% agreed. As much as I like the premise of "playing until I die" I wanna see him do full playthroughs because I enjoy listening to him talk.
In the AC3 video from a few days ago he said he would consider doing playthroughs if people wanted them.
@@SekiroSloth He also said it isn't gonna be in the foreseeable future because he's busy making the kind of videos he usually does.
You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this video, I waited so long I bought the game and am almost done with it😂
i have to point out that "touche" doesn't exactly mean "key", and even when it does: not as in a lock's key. Keys!
Thank you mentor.
I don’t know how but it’s possible to get past the guard at the start without doing anything just run past him
21:56 there kinda was, one of the paintings said “mortis” with is “death” although it meant arno’s death and rebirth as an assassin
Been waiting for this!!
Unity is one of my favo ac games! This was Ubisoft at its best!!
the first couple AC games gave me a habit of clearing the roof top guards as priority
1:19 bro predicted ksi song
have you done this with the first Assassin's Creed yet? I think that'd make for a more fun challenge than most other AC games
This video convinced me to replay Unity. Forgot just how good the game was (minus the glitches of course). May have already completed the main storyline 😂
Damn, even to this day the character animations and textures look better than most games released nowadays.
