All these people complaining about being soft and heavy. They are musicians. They are branching out and taking chances. Why put out the same sound all the time? I love how they are taking their minds and creating new flairs of music that is THEIRS. Keep it up. And change what you want. You deserve it.
From their first album to their newer albums, they've been getting less and hardcore, but I don't give a shit. They never seize to amaze me. Trevor's voice, no matter how he decides to vocally get his point across, just melts my heart.
Who can make such different song, can do the best songs! I don't wanna have any expectation yet... I WANNA LISTEN THE WHOLE ALBUM AND SAY: they had an evolution! This is what the truly fans want!
Honestly these guys have progressed so much since their beginning. Their screamer being what, 14 when he joined? I think that's a testament to how great they really are. I usually get my music for free but as soon as I get some money scraped together I'm buying this CD.
I hope you've kept up with them over the past 10 years! OLN right now (and especially since they left Epitaph but that's a story for another day) is the best they've ever been. They mainly focus on covers now but whenever they do come out with original music, it's rarely ever a miss. I think them going Independent has done wonders for them, and I hope they continue to grow and evolve as time goes on!
I think it's an awesome change for the better. It's like the perfect combination of classic OLN and a band trying to keep up with the times. So pumped for the rest of the album!
I'm not gonna lie at first i didnt like this song, but after listening to it I LOVE it. I love the lyrics and it is super catchy. The band is doing what they want to do and that is amazing.
I wish this was a different band, because this is a very well put together song, but I can't get past how amazing Elephants and the rest of the old album was! No matter how much I like this song, I will always miss the old OLN.
Bands change, making the same album twice would be a complete waste of time and talent. I love every song this band has made, including this one. Stoked for this record!
at the scream it like you mean it tour, the sound guy played the album between bands sets. i only know this because i stood behind him. the album is great.
there is no such thing as "bad taste" everyone has their own preferences in music. You can call almost anything music. Music is a preference based thing just like a lot of things in your life. It's what you enjoy and wanna listen to. Even though we all know there are those kids who listen to what their friends listen to because they think it's cool or whatever, but other than that music is preference. There is no "good music or bad music" Just like how some songs can be chill for some people and
It's one song off the album. In practically every video/FB post they made about the album before it came out they mentioned that their sound was evolving. Plus this is hardly dubstep. I don't even like dubstep but I love this song. You don't have to like the song but you should accept that the band is making the music that they want to make and not being controlled by the industry. They deserve a ton of respect for that.
I don't care how 'poppy' it is or how not heavy it is, if you were a good supporter of Our Last Night, you'd still like it. For me, I fucking love it. I love Our Last Night in general, and they don't really deserve the hate, well not really hate, but because they worked so hard, and at least the lyrics have meaning.
You know what? I love OLN, and now that I've given the new album a good listen, I love it, too. This song isn't representative of the band - it's just a fun song for them to write, record, release, and play. I'll enjoy it accordingly.
This is what the band has posted on their facebook. "this song is WAY different than the rest of the songs on the CD. This is just us experimenting with our sound a bit. There are still heavy songs with screaming on the record." and " the rest of the album is not like this song at all." So stop worrying. They experimented with one song.
You couldn't have worded that more perfectly. I'm tired of it too. People always say things are too "generic", then someone switches it up on ONE song, and everyone flips a tit.
They said on their FB that thing song is really different from the rest of the album. Check out their other single "Liberate Me". That one has Trevor in it! ^^
Love how people are being close minded and ignorant, when listening to the album "Age of Ignorance" shit, this song is really good, great vocals and melodies
Who cares, they lose fans, they gain fans, they are happy about the music they write that's all that matters, its their band, yes they care about their fans but they can't please 100% of them, they are maturing as artists, face it, either listen or listen to something you enjoy, stop bashing them for doing what they love.
Definitely a solid song. Sure it isn't heavy, but it shows growth and a willingness to change things up. If you criticize that, go find another band to listen to.
You people need to stop complaining. Sure this is different from there past albums but so what, the band is just growing. This isn't "heavy" but there are songs on the album that will be. As long as they are having fun and love what they are doing it shouldn't matter to you, and you should respect that. This is my favorite band and always will be with all the changes they do.
They have release 2 other song of the album and they both have screams, i would expect by a 3rd album that these guys would wanna try something a little lighter. Its not the Our Last Night i know and love but i can respect this song, hopefully it gains them a little more exposure cause after almost 4 years together they don't seem to have that many true fans.
Big Our Last Night fan, still, although this song is great by itself (and would make a perfect track for ending credits of a film such as Transformers) it sounds like, I don't know linking park or sth, not the adventurous drums and guitars in this track, hope this is really not the album cover, great thing you did with the bridge 2:45, I'm still buying this album on itunes when it's released but hope there's more 'fun' to come in the rest of the album
i understand what you mean but they gained all their fans from that 2008 stuff, not starting an argument just stating that their fans may or may not prefer their change in style
Trevor actually sings in this one, but he is there, you can tell during the switches in the verses, and the dual-chorus. Just no screaming, but that shouldn't be a shocker, if he's a lead "singer" he shouldn't be limited to just screaming.
man I'm trying to love this song, seriously, but I just can't get use to it. I can open my mind, enlarge my horizon, but I feel like this is anothe band. I'm gonna buy fate, liberate me, a sun that never set and age of ignorance, but not the full album. I still like our last night, but I'm more of a core guy, it's just me, I'm like this. However, I enjoyed that they tried something different. A fan since the first album
The best album of Our Last Night
All these people complaining about being soft and heavy. They are musicians. They are branching out and taking chances. Why put out the same sound all the time? Amazing song!! I love oln and i also like that the 'iii waaanna beee' is exactly the same like in 'my remains' from linkin park:)
I will forever and always be a fan of their music, and nothing is gonna change that.
I've loved these guys for like ever and I've never disliked any of their songs:) this has got to be one of my favorites. it's uplifting and positive
I have always been a fan of them. This progression only makes me love them more. True fan.
Aslong Caleb is in a band, he can make every song perfect,And just a amazing band this is
Who can make such different song, can do the best songs! I don't wanna have any expectation yet... I WANNA LISTEN THE WHOLE ALBUM AND SAY: they had an evolution! This is what the truly fans want!
wow. u go for new level music tone . awesome .
Honestly these guys have progressed so much since their beginning. Their screamer being what, 14 when he joined? I think that's a testament to how great they really are. I usually get my music for free but as soon as I get some money scraped together I'm buying this CD.

my cousin is the bassist in this band!!!!
miss the old our last night so much.
Awesome, can't wait for the new album.. Bands grow and diversify, get over it.
man this song rocks, reminded me so much of old linkin park. these guys are taking this genre to new places. really impressed guys.
Age of ignorance is similar, not complaining though, OLN is amazing no matter what they do.
I wish this was a different band, because this is a very well put together song, but I can't get past how amazing Elephants and the rest of the old album was! No matter how much I like this song, I will always miss the old OLN.
love the chorus...just astoundes me fornsome reason
I wouldn't listen to this but I think it's good that they do what they want to do and not what anybody else want them to do.
this song is awesome. they're taking a big step with this new album.
I know people want harder stuff, but this is actually good for OLN, imo. I really like this sound. Catchy, and it flows.
Hands down best album yet...our last night
I love the album art so much.
Bands change, making the same album twice would be a complete waste of time and talent. I love every song this band has made, including this one. Stoked for this record!
It's all good man. It all depends on which one you're listening for. I can see how you thought it said invisible. But agreed! Great song.
at the scream it like you mean it tour, the sound guy played the album between bands sets. i only know this because i stood behind him. the album is great.
Stoked for the album

I love how this band is moving the same pace as I am. As I age I move into a more mature musical interest like them.
I dont get why people are hating or not liking this songg this song is amazingg!
Deff a nice change. Incredible song!!
oh dang I had high hopes for you guys. At least I have one album to look forward to. The Chariot never disapoints
Sick ass song and the break down at the end is so sick!
It's one song off the album. In practically every video/FB post they made about the album before it came out they mentioned that their sound was evolving. Plus this is hardly dubstep. I don't even like dubstep but I love this song.

I can listening to this for hours!!!
I don't care how 'poppy' it is or how not heavy it is, if you were a good supporter of Our Last Night, you'd still like it. For me, I fucking love it. this is so awesome!!!!! the band is awesome!
That little breakdown at 2:46 is badass.
Perfect for how I feel right now in life.
Didn't even listen to it yet, but can say it's epic
!!!!
i have to agree this album kicks major ass
Really good song.
I personally like this song. Its really good. They tried something new and its a hit for me.
I love this actually.
This album is going to kick ass. I can already tell :)
brillaint
I love this! FOUND A NEW BAND!! YESSS
I love the album Cover
This is what the band has posted on their facebook. "this song is WAY different than the rest of the songs on the CD. This is just us experimenting with our sound a bit. Very good!
I relate to this song so much
Everyone has that calmer song in their album when it comes to this genre, stop whining.
personally i love it
This surprisingly makes me think of Linkin Park. Cool stuff ! Even though I wish there was more deep voices in this new album.
solid song
Love it!!
Those of you who are complaining that you want to hear Trevor.. I hope you realize both of them are singing in this song.
aawwwwweeesome
love this song
They said on their FB that thing song is really different from the rest of the album.
Check out their other single "Liberate Me". That one has Trevor in it! ^^
not into this typa stuff but cmon. its our last night and i love it :D
In all honesty this is just as good as the rest of their songs
Listen to the album "We Will All Evolve", had some more electronic elements in those songs. These guys are badass.
Love how people are being close minded and ignorant, when listening to the album "Age of Ignorance" shit, this song is really good, great vocals and melodies
Reminds me of an Anberlin and Emery mix. I like it :)
Deny it if you want, but this sounds like old school Linkin Park and that's really cool. They put a modern twist on a dying sound. Props.
It is very Linkin Park-y. And that was my favorite band growing up. :P I like this
I actually really like this, not sure where all the hate is coming from.
If you criticize that, go find another band to listen to.
я в восторге от вашей музыки, вы дарите мне вдохновение, ведь я пишу прозы , спасибо вам
You people need to stop complaining. Sure this is different from there past albums but so what, the band is just growing. This isn't "heavy" but there are songs on the album that will be. this is matts time to shine :p i really like it though
You know i could actually get into this new album if it didn't feature the previous 'screamer dude' singing, hes voice is just bluerrghhh D:
They have release 2 other song of the album and they both have screams, i would expect by a 3rd album that these guys would wanna try something a little lighter. Its not the Our Last Night i know and love but i can respect this song, hopefully it gains them a little more exposure cause after almost 4 years together they don't seem to have that many true fans.
I wanna be a principal
its i wana be invinsable
a 9 year old knows more than you
+Crickett Lee HAHAHAHA! 😂
LOL "INVINSABLE" ITS INVINCIBLE
Big Our Last Night fan, still, although this song is great by itself (and would make a perfect track for ending credits of a film such as Transformers) it sounds like, I don't know linking park or sth, not the adventurous drums and guitars in this track, hope this is really not the album cover, great thing you did with the bridge 2:45, I'm still buying this album on itunes when it's released but hope there's more 'fun' to come in the rest of the album
i understand what you mean but they gained all their fans from that 2008 stuff, not starting an argument just stating that their fans may or may not prefer their change in style
Please. Let them experiment with different sounds and music. Either way, I'll still love them.
Who cares is they sound like linkin park, or arent as hardcore?! If you dont like it click another link. Nobody is forcing you to listen.
when i first heard this song i was so amused!
God thank you. These fans are just so picky and they don't know what they want lol
Amazing :3
we love it......................\m/
Ich mag das lied neun ich liebe es
Trevor actually sings in this one, but he is there, you can tell during the switches in the verses, and the dual-chorus. Just no screaming, but that shouldn't be a shocker, if he's a lead "singer" he shouldn't be limited to just screaming.
This song is better than their other new one. At least this one has a touch of originality... who cares if it's not metal.
how come i havn't stumbled across this band before? :O
man I'm trying to love this song, seriously, but I just can't get use to it. I can open my mind, enlarge my horizon, but I feel like this is anothe band. I'm gonna buy fate, liberate me, a sun that never set and age of ignorance, but not the full album. I still like our last night, but I'm more of a core guy, it's just me, I'm like this. A fan since the first album
This song is really different from all their other work but I still like it. But I wouldn't want a whole album of this.
In My Remains Pt. 2
Exactly
wish i could see them with adestria on their next tour..
this is trevor he's doing the majority of the clean vocals on the new release
asdfghjk You're right, thanks.
I listened it again, and now I can hear it.
._. But good song never the less.
The real thing is that we want to hear Trevor scream. His singing is great, I just miss the intense screams.
This is gonna take some getting used to
