Valleyfair Opening Day 2023

Opening Day at Valleyfair for the 2023 season. Please join me as I walk around Valleyfair looking for any sort of updates to the park. These updates include things like new paving in the parking lot, new paving in park pathways, paint, railings, land clearing, etc. I also made sure to get some rides in on Wild Thing, Renegade and Steel Venom. Possible sights for future additions to the park were sighted and noted as well. It seems like a pretty reasonable time to speculate about the parks future.

15:55 Your right, there used to be a funnel cake stand there, I recall it being there when I went to Valleyfair and had a funnel cake sundae on August 25, 2019.

Glad to hear that I'm not alone in thinking that. I always find it interesting to see the little changes that the park does from year to year. Now they have a much large funnel cake stand to the right as you enter the park. That food service stand has changed quite a few different times now.

Well thank you very much! I might be there that day. Otherwise, I will be there Saturday or Sunday of that weekend. I haven't decided yet. I will be covering Grand Carnivale and giving my impressions of it.

@@rollercoastermotor1665 ok sounds good! I have never been there during grand carnivale so I am excited to see what it offers but I do not know much about it.

@@layneadams6026 Grand Carnivale will be running on select dates June 24th to July 9th. I'd recommend checking it out yourself if you have any curiosity about it. I will be honest though, I checked it out two years ago and wasn't all that into it. I didn't bother checking it out last year. I'm giving it another chance this year to see what I think of it. So I can't exactly say I'd recommend it from a personal perspective. I've also seen other people post online who seem to really enjoy it so experiences can certainly vary.
